this is some mature writing that talks about the benefits of stopping crimes before they happen, but hte consequences. Ryan North gets Wally west well (more htan Simon Spurrier), and the art is still solid. The issue is very entertaining and still sharp as expected.

Scott Snyder just gets why people are drawn to Batman. It's not just he looks cool and has the best stories written around him. It's that he has suffered one of the biggest trauma as a child, but rather than give in to that trauma and be a criminal, he goes out every night to face tha trauma and rise above it. nick Dragotta's art fits so well with this series.

This was a great re-cap issue for people who may have forgotten what this was about. I liked it overall

This is the best "spider-man" issue of 2026. I like Al Ewing's writing for Peter Parker, on how Peter Parker actually analyzes and tells Doctor Doom the hard truth.

this was a strong debut issue, I like Negative Man's characterization. This is an issue I will be re-reading again to appreciate it more

I really like this issue, it was a really strong issue. I like how Superman doesn't accept the man's money after scaring off the robber, that's who superman is. It's a bit slow but I like the themes of how capitalism screws the working class. This was a really strong issue

Usually an issue where the superhero doesn't talk and just has senseless fights is boring and doesn't move me. But the way Batman moves thanks to Matt Fraction and Matteo Scalera's art has me hype and looks so dynamic. The colors and visuals contrast pops out more, and I was really entertained

maybe i am an idiot. But what eactly happened? how did deadshot meet those alternate versions? it was really unclear

Tom Taylor has always been my favorite comic book writer, and I like how this series still meets the expectations of his Dark Knights of Steel sequel. It's more political intrigue, but all the characters are likable, and I can't wait to see how this goes.

This series feels similar to Absolute Batman in terms of tone, yet it stands on its own and still feels like a Green Arrow story, even though Oliver Queen isn't in it. Rafael alberque's art and coloring really make this issue stand out.

Montos art is reallyy growing on me, it's similar to andrea Sarrantino

This series rocks hard. I like Scott Snyder's different interpretation on Bruce Wayne, and Clayface as well as the shocking twist of the Robins

I sure wish Mary JAne Watson and Peter Parker will be back together for good and they get to evolve for their relationship

Joshua Williamson is the only writer to make me actually care about Tony Stark since Matt Fraction.

This was a bit slower and less bombastic compared to the other issues. I dont really havve strong feelings for the new butler, and it's confusing on whether Bruce Wayne is hallucinating Alfred. But Jorge Jiminez manga style comic book art really carries the issue, and I like how it's just a simple entertaining one-off Batman issue that doesn't take itself too seriously

Absolute Superman is an absolute blast to read. This is a one-off issue, but I like how in this issue Jason Aaron makes Superman literally eat a lot of hits, but he keeps on standing up to make sure Metallo remembers who he is. Juan Ferreyra's art is also amazing as well

the art is really solid, I love the horror tone, and Godzilla creates zombie. This is a nice unique twist that makes it interesting

This was really good, I like the art and the pacing made sense. It's nice seeing how Superman is inspirational, and Joshua Williamson gets a strong voice for Clark Kent and what makes him so special

this was a harmless fun yet entertaining read. I liked Ryan North's voice for Wally West, although his ability to predict hte future is getting too overpowered

this again was a really fun issue. I like Joshua Williamson's writing of breaking the fourth wall

This was a really solid issue, and I like how Ultraboy's story wrapped up. Dan Slott continues to surprise me in this series in the good way, and I like Lucas Meyer's art as well

This series is to synergize with the upcoming DCU Clayface, and even so, it was still a solid issue. I like hte intrigue of the second Basil Karlo, the art is great and it has horror art that I enjoy.

Personally this is my favorite and easy to understand Wonder Woman series in the mainline. Greg Rucka at least understands Wonder Woman more than other writers like Brian Azzarello or Tom King on how to write and speak with Diana Prince. Wonder Woman is really hard to write compared to Batman and Superman because she is so inherently tied into Greek Mythology, and she also has feminism themes in it. This run was more of a political drama where Diana Prince is the ambassador, and I enjoyed Greg Rucka's voice and how he makes Diana Prince wrestle with being the messenger between Themiscyra and Earth. Overall, I would highly reccomend this.

After watching DCU Supergirl, I can confidently say that this is my definitive Supergirl. I love the way Sophie Campbell writes Kara Zor-El. The art is so great, the characters are written well and the plot is easy to understand.

This was a really great issue that fleshed out Harley Quinn, and honstly myabe I am naive. But I did not expect the plot twist, and the guest artist was great

Overall, this was a series that took multiple re-reads, but overall I think it's a modern masterpiece. I love how the message of the book's tackles despair, depression and desperation. But the perfect antidote to this is empathy and compassion. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very abstract surreal book with a lot of complex words. But I can't deny that this is a modern masterpiece, and even though it's not my favorite Absolute line, it is the best. I can't wait to get the full story and add it to my catalog.

this was surprisingly good. Patrick Gleason's art and the coloring really make this shine

I really like this new re-imaging of Supergirl and Kal-El with the different Lobos. This was really good

This was a reall god issue. I love Jorge Jiminez art, and how Matt Faction is making Batman have short, quick adventures. While it is true that this series is more slower paced compared to the bombastic Zdarsky, Tynion and King's run, the writing for most characters are very solid. I really do like the action in this issue as well, and it does take a couple of re-reads for me to understand what's going on but overall I appreciate it more.

Absolute Superman continues to be my favorite series coming out of the DC Absolute Universe. Jason Aaron and Rafa SAndoval are knocking itout of the park with these issues

Ultimate Endgame to me is a story that could have been so much more. This Ultimate Marvel Universe had so much promise. If I am just judging by this series and Ultimate Universe Finale, I just felt that the story was confusing with all the mumbo jumbo, the pacing is all over the place, and I'm sorry. But the art was not good to look at. I really didn't care for all these characters, I didn't care about Ultimate Iron Man or the new Ultimates. The only hcaracters I did care was The Maker and Ultimate Doctor Doom. But The Maker didn't play an imposing role, and he's written in an over the top manner that didn't make me care. Marvel has a problem where most of the issues have nothing happening only until the last few pages. There's no real progression or build up. Overall, this was a big dissapointing ending. No, it's not as bad as Ultimatum. But that doesn't make it a good series.

i can't believe I'm saying this, but this was the best issue of the series for me. It took almost 35 issues, but here we are.

so far I have been really enjoying Greg Rucka's Batman. I like how this is just small one-off issues and it's not tied into a huge over-arching story that takes 50 issues. It's unrelated, nad it's designed so that people. can just pick up this issue and not get lost. But Greg Rucka really understands Batman, and how underneath his dark gloomy gruff personality he's a compassionate and kind person

Thisi s my first time reading Greg Rucka's Batman run. Let's see how this goes. So far, compared to 2026 Batman, it's refreshing to see a grounded street level Batman solving a mystery.

This was a really good issue. I like seeing Dick Grayson use his detective skills, yes he isn't as smart as Time Drake or Bruce Wayne, but he also is not a meat head. The art and story are also very engaging and interesting

this may sound so messed up, but I honestly don't know how this entire series has gotten critical acclaim. I feel that the critics are overhyped or tend to have "lower" expectations than comic book readers. But on the flip side, it is a lot better compared to the negative culture war reviewers. Anyway, Ultimate Endgame and Finale is probably my least favorite "ending" of the decade. It is just bland, mediocre, and forgettable. The stories we have weren't even entertaining or made me miss the characters. The problem is that the characters aren't engaging because it felt that there were more stories other tell, but instead of flashbacks or filler issues of other characters, we don't develop the main ones. The art is inconcistent as well, the writing is okay. the only story I liked was Wolveirne.

oh yeah. It's all coming together. We lal know how Conquest gets killed by Invincible, and Battle Beast will get killed by Thragg. But I still an't wait to see who would win in this fight. This is just an entertaining book

this was surprisingly good. This feels like old Dan Slott again, and it's just a comfortable entertaining read. I dig it.

I really like Jeff Lemire's writing for Wally West, Linda and Grodd. It's my first time seeing a younger version of Wally, and this has been consistently entertaining.

The delay was worth it, and this was a solid conclusion to this mini-series. Another great Batman DC Black label series is added to my book collection

This was a pleasant surprise, I like this version of Catwoman. She's more raw, younger and inexperienced and the action from Bengal was great

Fun issue. I like Joshua Wiliamson's writing for Spider-Man

This was a really interesting nd engaging story of what if Supergirl and Kal-El arrived on a different planet at the same time. Rod Reis art is really improvessive, and I am excited to see how this goes

This is a refreshing Batman run for once. Jorge Jiminez is the definitive Batman artist of the 2020s. I love Matt Fraction's writing on just telling a street level Batman run

Tom Taylor's writing for Green Arrow and Batman has been superb. I am enjoying htis run so far

Joshua williamson is the only writer so far to make Superman fun and entertaing AF. Ice has made Superboy Prime so much fun to read and watch

didn't have high expectations, and it blew me away. I do like how we do not know who the identity of this new Green Arrow is, but I can not wait to see the slow burn and how Dinah Lance differs from Main Dinah Lance. I also love the art here as it is very violent and dynamic

I haven't felt this invested or interested in Tony Stark ever since Matt Fraction's run, which was 15 years ago back in 2011. Time flies huh.

i had no expectations, but this issue was surprisingly good. The action was kinetic, and I liked Mariko Tamaki's writing. I am invested in this series as of now.

This was a strong introduction to Absolute Scarecrow, and I am interested in seeing how Absolute Batman will fight against Absolute Robins

it's honestly a shame. Becaue I think Deniz Camp is a good writer, he's shown that with his Ultimates, and Absolute Martian Manhunter. But it feels that the pacing is relaly rushed where I didn't feel anything for this event because everything is just speeding along in the speed of light. The art is inconsistent, and I think that there are too many characters for me to care about. While I don't mind things having to end, and if this was marvel's original plan, then so be it. But it's a shame that they ended on a flat note, and like Afre said, I don't see how this will wrap up in a satisfying way.

this series rocks hard. I love the art and Jason Aaron's writing for Absolute Superman, as well as the action

i did not really have any connections to Rick Veitch's run because I haven't read it. So when I read this, this was very confusing. I think I am going to hold off on reading this series until I read Rick Veitch's run on Swamp Thing

it;s prime time baby

the only reason this is not a one is because of Peter Gross' art. I hate Trump, and I am all up for anything criticizing Trump. That being said, this had to many expositional dialogue where Tom King is explaining too mucch on what is happening, and the characters are boring, the neding is sad, and it is a worse clone of Animal Farm from George Orwell. This had no subtly whiel also being boring at all.

I really do not know what is going on in this story. The pacing is all over the place, the prose dialogue doesn't make it engaging, and Tom King's interpretation on Wodner Woman as wooden, stiff, and isolated makes me not as engaged or invested compared to George Perez, Greg Rucka, Bill Messmer Loebs.

This was a really fun issue. Again, Dan Slott surprises me once again. I like his writing for Superboys, and the art is consistently great

This series is so engaging, I can't wait to see how it unfolds

I am already hooked on this issue. Jeff Lemire, please don't let us down.

Re-reading this in 2026 (15 years after the debut issue), it still holds. up well. Whiel Scott Snyder is more action packed compared to Alan Moore, I think this is the definitive jumping on point for Swamp Thing content. It's consistent, and engaging, and I would definitely reccomend it. This is Scot Snyder's most underrated comic book run in my opinion, and this doesn't have the heavy expositional dialogue he would be known for in the late 2010s.

this feels like a completely different story in terms of tone and pace. who is the red haired woman? I have no clue

overall this was a really solid series. I enjoy Jeff Lemire's consistent writing, the art, and his work on hte characters. I will definitely re-read this again, and It was nice seeing the Justice Society of America meet Wonder Woman. Might check out other JSA books

I'm actually surprised that this issue was entertaining and a step up from what I seen from Stephanie Phillips. it's not ground-breaking, but the writing is what I expect from Daredevil level. I hope this series is consistent throughout, and Lee Garbett's art fits so well, as well as the fight choreography

this was a very solid issue. I like seeing Jason Aaron's re-invention of Teth Adam, and the art here is super amazingly fantastic. The colors really pop out, and I feel attached to these characters.

this involved a lot of talking and setting up plot points for the run. The writing is still solid, however it just wasn't entertaining or engaging compared to the other issues. Ryan Sook's art looks different, but it is still a solid artwork.

I wish I could feel more, but the Ultimate series have been underwhelming because I dont care about the characters, and don't feel anything when they show up. Honestly, the only Ultimate series I cared was actually Deniz Camp's Ultimate. Like I legitimately felt nothing when spider-Man was killed.

overall, while Makr Millar's Spider-Man run was edgy and is a product of it's time in response to being the Marvel version of Batman: Hush, I still very much enjoy it. Would I reccomend to new readers? No. Terry Dodson's art is too samey. But it was damn entertaining

This only works as an else world story, as if main Hulk is able to survive a black hole by just punching it really hard, then it goes down by a lot since anyone who can defeat the hulk are jobbers. Regardless, this was really fun and entertaining. I like the art and the action in this series

this was a worthy follow-up to the 1976 spider-man superman crossover story. It's insane on how this issue came out 50 years after that issue. I will say that al the stories were great, except Tom King and Christopher Priest stories. But I just have so much fun that the rating is a little bit higher than usual

Joshua Williamson has always been my top 5 favorite writers and this is why. I think this is the first time since Matt Fraction that I am actually interested in Tony Sark

this was a really good anniversary issue. I love the storoy for Kyle Rayner, and the art from Xermanico, Darryl Banks, and V Ken Marion. The coloring also works really well, this series still solidifies on why Green Lanterns are probably one of the most underrated heroes of all time

this was a massive step up after Simon Spurrier's flash. I like how this book ties into scientific aspect yet it is easy to understand, and I like Ryan North's writing for Wally West and the kids. The art is also very good. Ryan North is slowly turning into a modern writer that I trust writing after reading his Fantastic Four, and One World Under Doom event.

this issue was surprisingly good. I thought Dan Slott fell off, but maybe he wrote so much at Marvel that he wants to try new stuff at DC. Regardless, this was a great issue involving Jonathan Samuel Kent. I am interested to see how this goes

Of course the writer for Batgirl will also make a banger first issue of Titans. I am definitely intrigued by this

I think this is the best Lobo issue I read. I was never a big fan of Lobo. I hope skottie Young's run on lobo will be great

While the villain gets defeated in a couple of panels (a common weakness of Jeremy Adams), I really love how the story wraps everything up, and John Timms art as well as the coloring really pop out

This was a really good issue. I loe Eeric Canete's art, how Bruce's mother was a Talon (maybe thats how Bruce gets all his violent tendecies from), Comissione Gordon knowing Bruce is Batman. This series definitely feels like Scott Snyder is having so much fun writing Batman more than new 52 Batman. It's like he has full creative control that just happens to be Batman.

Scott Snyder stuck the landing. Much better than Dark Knight Death Metal. But I feel that every time Scott Snyder wants to go cosmic and go bigger and better, it gets overwhelming. There's a saying that's "Less is more", and when I am reading dialogue of Superman remaking the universe in his image, fighting through different eras where galaxies shudder, black holes vomit starlight it makes my eyes roll. I don't mind this event being filler for the next launch pad for new comic book series, and it still is entertaining. But this makes me glad that Scott Snyder left DC Comics for a while, because when he writes cosmic meta concepts it gets overwhelming.

I like Joshua Williamson's interpretation on Tony Stark, he actually makes him more interesting and likable compared to other runs. The art is also solid, and overall this series has me engaged

This was a satisfying ending to this arc. I also really like Mikel Janin's art here, the coloring makes the pages pop out

I think overall, this has been my favorite tie-in series for the event. I like the writing for Superboy Prime, and Eddy barrows art is honestly the best it has ever been. This has so far been my favorite Superman series of all time.

this was a very solid ending to John Layman's run overall. While it is short, he nailed the ending and I liked the way he wrote all the Titans and how they are giving villains the second chance. Plus, John Layman's art is great, and re-reading it back to the present made me actually like this more than Tom Taylor's run. This put the Titans in a new direction at least, and overall I highly reccomend it. I liked how John Layman had good writing for all the titans, and although the new writing team may falter, I at least can be confident in saying htat this was the ending to the Titans run for me. I wish the new team the best of luck

this was a really nice intermission between Tom King's run. While it's not memorable, it was still entertaining and it's nice to see Yara Flor again. Also, Jeff Spokes art was solid in this run due to the popping colors nad visuals.

absolute btaman is the closest western comic to japanese manga. this is peak

It honestly stings that I could not enjoy this series as much as everyone, and it seems that I am a contrarian to this issue. It honestly feels like a story that nothing happens. it is honestly strange on how Hickman has the concept of Peter Parker being married with kids, and he does nothing about it. I understand that it's normal for solicitions to have fake cover and fake news, but when the issues are bland and not memorable, something is not clicking with me. This series is not a slow burn, it's just...... boring. Say what you want about Zeb Well's and Nick Spencer Spider-Man run. Even if we all hated how Spider-Man lose a lot, or the Kindred identity, or how underwhelming the big crossover story arc endings were. At least something happens. The Uncle Ben and J Jonah Jameson story arc of newspaper is a really cool idea.... for a different series that is NOT named SPIDER MAN. Like honestly, does Earth 6160 Spider-Man really stnad out? Like do something that is pretty cool and sick and makes the fans remember? Heck, even Bendis Ultimate Spider-Man, he has some sick and cool moments like taking on Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Sinister Six, Morbius, Deadpool, dating Kitty Pryde, Ultimate Clone Saga. Hickman's Peter doesn't take a pro-active approach, nothing bad really happens to him. What has he actually done outside of getting powers? Most of his power development happens off-screen. I am going to bring this back to the issue, because the moments don't feel impactful. They feel flat and hollow. Richard Parker turning to Venom, nad seeing Ultimate Anti-Venom, and Richard and Black Cat making out did not elicit any emotion from me, because I couldn't care for them. I liked the way Kingpin and Mister NEgative ended, and I wished we had the Peter and Mary Jane scene 22 issues ago instead of the final issue. Overall, I just can't get behind this series, and I consider this series to be overrated. It's not terrible, but I feel that people rate it highly because we are finally getting a Peter and Mary Jane series where they are married, happy and have kids compared to what Marvel is treating EArth 616 Spider-Man. But if you stop and think about it, most of the character moments happen off-screen. Peter's kid getting the symbiote... off-screen. Why and how did Otto Octavius become Superior Spider-Man and get spider powers? Why did he want to be a hero? Off-screen. It's like Hickman has his mind set on Gwen, Harry, J Jonah Jameson and Uncle Ben as the main focus, but then neglects Peter Parker to the side. So overall, this in my opinion is hte most wasted potential comic book I have read in my life. And it's a shame to say.
