Jul 03, 2024The entire ordeal (including a back-up story featuring a resurrected Phil Coulson and largely-forgotten plot from Aaron's Avengers) arrives appearing rushed with only the most familiar notes of a Spider-Man morality play and serviceable artwork to show readers. Read Full Review

The art is a little rushed and I think the author hasn't quite mastered the "tormented Spidey" voice. But the timey-wimey premise of this story is audacious and well-executed. Continuing the work of the Thanos Annual, this deepens and rounds out Overtime's character. My anticipation for the event as a whole is rising.

I actually enjoyed the main story where Overtime takes on Spider-Man rather than the main story of Nighthawk and Phil Coulson

What a confusing book. A time-hopping story such as this one needs clear, concise art. However, I found myself wondering several times what is even happening. Rom Lim has been around for a while and although I was never a huge fan, his artwork looked unrecognizable and amateurish here.
