overall this was a really solid series. I enjoy Jeff Lemire's consistent writing, the art, and his work on hte characters. I will definitely re-read this again, and It was nice seeing the Justice Society of America meet Wonder Woman. Might check out other JSA books

I'm actually surprised that this issue was entertaining and a step up from what I seen from Stephanie Phillips. it's not ground-breaking, but the writing is what I expect from Daredevil level. I hope this series is consistent throughout, and Lee Garbett's art fits so well, as well as the fight choreography

this was a very solid issue. I like seeing Jason Aaron's re-invention of Teth Adam, and the art here is super amazingly fantastic. The colors really pop out, and I feel attached to these characters.

this involved a lot of talking and setting up plot points for the run. The writing is still solid, however it just wasn't entertaining or engaging compared to the other issues. Ryan Sook's art looks different, but it is still a solid artwork.

I wish I could feel more, but the Ultimate series have been underwhelming because I dont care about the characters, and don't feel anything when they show up. Honestly, the only Ultimate series I cared was actually Deniz Camp's Ultimate. Like I legitimately felt nothing when spider-Man was killed.

overall, while Makr Millar's Spider-Man run was edgy and is a product of it's time in response to being the Marvel version of Batman: Hush, I still very much enjoy it. Would I reccomend to new readers? No. Terry Dodson's art is too samey. But it was damn entertaining

This only works as an else world story, as if main Hulk is able to survive a black hole by just punching it really hard, then it goes down by a lot since anyone who can defeat the hulk are jobbers.
Regardless, this was really fun and entertaining. I like the art and the action in this series

2025 In Review:
Can't tell if you were thinking this was the end of the series based off this review, but, just in case, Lemire will still be writing JSA after this. Based on a past Substack newsletter, he's, at least, going to 24 issues. Issue #19 comes out 5/6/26 and will be starting a new arc called "The Search For The Spectre." :)
