    SciFiPulse - Ian Cullen

OverallOverall, this issue is another solid entry in the series. The fight between Daredevil and Wrath at the start is a fantastic spectacle, but the real heart of the story lies in the middle. When Matt has a conversation with She-Hulk and learns he is still licensed to practice law, it sets up the story brilliantly. This revelation builds perfectly into the tense phone call at the end of the issue, leaving readers eagerly anticipating what comes next. Read Full Review

"Daredevil #17 is a compelling continuation of Matt Murdock's saga, challenging him to face adversaries that cannot simply be defeated with punches. This issue does an excellent job of deepening the religious and ethical dimensions of the character while presenting him with seemingly insurmountable challenges. This Daredevil series is an excellent entry point for new readers and a thought-provoking journey for long-time fans. Read Full Review

    Plot
Matt faces the demon of rage that has possessed Jason's body, but unfortunately he escapes. Matt returns to the church to apologize to the orphaned brothers who are being harassed by Foggy Nelson.

She-Hulk helps Matt and discovers that someone made him have his identity of Matt Murdock again being a lawyer again, which gives him the ability to better defend himself in the trial of Foggy Nelson's lawsuit.

Cole, Foggy's partner in the firm is kidnapped by the demon of rage.

Excellent delivery that continues to nourish this demonic challenge that Daredevil has been fighting throughout this saga.

    Art
It is magnificent, full of details and textures with touches of great realism that offer the tone more

The art was pretty fire. The story is just getting a little worn out. We are 17 issues in and we are still on this sins story. It has value to some extent, but I wish we would get more.

It bugs me a little bit that, in just about every issue, Matt's narration keeps telling us things that are already well-established, whether it's from previous issues or even in that issue's recap page. That said, this was another issue that I liked, but also one that I didn't absolutely love. Yes, yes, Kuder's on interiors and, as per usual, that was one of the book's strongest aspects. Also, I need to find out not only who's telling Romita Jr. what to draw on these covers, but also who's writing the solicitations for this series. I'm no stranger to misleading covers and whatnot, but neither Bullseye nor Elektra appear in this issue. The closest we get is Elektra being mentioned by Matt on, like, one page.

A month or two ago Kingpin was on the cover - no Kingpin inside.
This month Bullseye on the cover - no Bullseye inside.
    WTF?
I admit that i am hate-reading it at this point. It's the only kind of reading this claptrap, that goes absolutely nowhere in slow motion, month after tedious month, deserves.
