I never expect everyone to like what I do, but I’d be interested to hear what it is you don’t like. Thoughtful and constructive criticism can help artists and writers improve. “It’s bad” is so vague that it’s useless.

Jun 09, 2026This was a fun issue that introduces a compelling new villain in the form of Spore while also expanding Peter Parker’s family tree with the introduction of a long-lost relative that neither Peter nor Aunt May knew existed. The issue does a good job of balancing superhero action with the more personal character moments that have always been at the heart of the Spider-Man mythos. Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026Amazing Spider-Man #30 succeeds because every plot thread feels like it's moving forward. The battle against Spore delivers exciting action and a few memorable visuals, while Kintsugi continues to establish himself as an engaging addition to Spider-Man's world. Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding Peter's cousin gains meaningful momentum and culminates in a final page that raises the stakes considerably. Pete Woods' energetic artwork elevates both the action scenes and quieter character moments, helping this issue feel lively from start to finish. While Spore remains a somewhat straightforward villain, the book's strong pacing and compelling subplots make for another entertaining installment. Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026The Amazing Spider-Man #30 is a thrilling issue of high stakes developments, incredible art, and the definitive launching pad for the road to #1000, which has me optimistic, yet terrified as a fan for what Spider-Man's biggest story might have in store for readers. Read Full Review

Finally read this! I really liked it. Art was great and I liked implications. Spore especially looked great. I think Cormac stuff hinges on the next two issues, so I will wait for those before giving my thoughts on him.

Boy that Cormac Crane reveal at the end ! what a huge character.... im joking. who? does anyone care? hasn't aunt May been through enough crap at this point? we get a villain reveal and dispatched in 2 issues. boy talk about filler. Overall just boring stuff from Joe who seems to be struggling on finding the Parker he wants to write about. We got dying over and over, space Peter, a guy who seems family lineage ... it's all just bad comics. Fix this Joe. Because this Spider-man book sucks!
