I guess to much marketing and bla bla doesn't make the story better. Marvel is sadly leaning on the loyal fan base, that is mainly build by our beloved netflix/Disney Daredevil series and early volumes.
There is not a lot of meat on the bone here. It's aight, it's daredevil, but don't expect anything more.
Daredevil #1
YOU CAN BURY THE BODIES, BUT NEVER THE GHOSTS! Hell's Kitchen is full of secrets - but no secret stays buried for long! As a fearsome new super villain named OMEN has targeted MATT MURDOCK, it will be his alter-ego DAREDEVIL who takes the hits! BUT BEWARE! This mysterious new player isn't all that they appear - a secret Daredevil will have to learn...
This might be the easiest comic book you've read in a while. The pace and everything around it just fits, so it's a compliment. You'll get attached to the characters, the story is clear, the text is engaging, you're able to predict some stuff already (fun) and The art is not a pain for your eyes.
But beside the pace it doesn't really excel in anything else. It's a fun read but I won't b

Royals #1

But they might have finally met their match when they risk it all against the leader of the Bloody Cocks, the most ruthless criminal syndicate in Seoul. Eisner Award-winning writer DEREK KIRK KIM (THE LAST MERMAID, Same...
The art, story telling is all great. Good stuff, but I don't like it...
Lets review this in the second issue... just weird

Yes, it's really good.

After the explosive conclusion to issue 1, Ted confronts Sarah and confesses that he believes his workplace, Ayn-Styne, is overrun with aliens engaged in a nefarious plot. Seeing that he needs friendly support, she commits to helping him investigate…without confessing that her job is, in fact, to spy on him. Her interest is piqued, however, as Ted ...
I didn't have high hopes for this series but once you start it, it sticks.
The art is cruel sometimes, but you get used to it. I think in a TPB, it doesn't bother you all.
This zombie punisher is different, I think I'll hop along when he returns.
Marvel Knights: Punisher #4
The Punisher is out for revenge – and not even Everett K. Ross can stop him! A nonstop brawl IS what you came here for, isn't it?
I thought it was pretty awesome as it's trying to be his own thing.
Of course the art could be a bit leveled up, but this is exactly presenting the current state of the white sky world. This does kinda feels like a movie instead of a comic issue, but I love how it goes and there is def potential for growth.
White Sky #2
After being violently separated from her father, Violet now faces the horrors of this world on her own. Unsure of what to do, she meets the unlikeliest of allies, a psychic-medium named Walter who’s being held prisoner under the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza. Comment end

Coming in with high expectations rarely turns out great, and this isn't any different.
I was not really impressed by anything, it's just so not relevant in a highly competitive comic book industry.
Dead Teenagers #1

Since 1997, five friends have been trapped in the ultimate nightmare as a mysterious entity forces them to relive their first prom night over and over again . . . and re-kills them in new and increasingly insane ways each time. NEW STORY ARC THE BIGGEST SERIES OF 2025 RETURNS Battle Beast continues his quest to find the one being who can defeat him in battle and end his life. But the Viltrumites are looming…
Jorge Corona is an amazing artist and he delivers some epic pages.
The story, is some of the worst things I've recently read...
To bad for the Jorge Corona art, but I'm out.
Lobo #1
VRRRRROOOOOOMMMMMMMM! The Main Man’s back, baby! And his ride is a motorcycle that moves at the speed of sound, but only if that sound is a rippin’ guitar solo, and you better hop on before he leaves you in the dust with all the bastiches he’s fragged for money or convenience! The Eisner-nominated creative team that brought you a fantastic parable ...
Perfect second issue, really sets the town up, creates some depth in the story and introduces a lot of new characters. This is moving in the right direction and should be a no brainer pick up for everyone
End of Life #2
Okay, so maybe hiding out in this podunk town with his sick father, estranged ex, and nauseatingly pleasant townsfolk was a bad idea. But Eddie has a plan to make things right. If he can just giveback what he stole from the Raven, no harm no foul, right? His accomplices, the Murder Brothers, will help him out...right? Wrong, dog. Very wrong.
Art wise is not eye catching, but the colors are vibrant and really setting up the vibes. Story wise its actually holding its ground but it goes really quick and before you know it... Bam Mayhem. Idk, it's not rushed but it's a lot for one issue.
51 #1
What if all the secrets housed in AREA 51 leaked out into the world? Who would be responsible for that mess? Who would be responsible for cleaning it up? After the President’s screw-up son, Harvey, gets in trouble with the law, his dad calls in a favor and gets him assigned to THE real life Area 51 AKA Hangar 51. But it’s not the thrill ride the co...
Only because of the art this is an easy 10! Story is amazing too
Usagi Yojimbo: Kaito '84 #1
In 1984 Osaka, the bloodline of Miyamoto Usagi lives on through Kaitō Usagi, a cunning rabbit thief with a rebellious spirit. He embodies his ancestor's legacy in a way the stoic samurai we know and love never could. A daring new heist for a legendary spear sets Kaitō down a perilous path, forever altering his destiny and placing the fate of Osaka,...
You have to settle with the specific art style. It's quiete simple but it present pretty good the atmosphere. There are a lot of different characters with witty quirks, really well presented. But I'm afraid that this won't be enough to fulfill the high expectations due to the current market price...
Tigress Island #1
MINISERIES PREMIERE From PATRICK KINDLON (GEHENNA) and EPHK (HARPY). A group of down-on-their-luck actresses are kidnapped to an island prison run by a sadistic female warden. Working together is their only chance of escape, but trust issues abound! Action-adventure inspired by exploitation films. Ridiculously fun. Seriously sexy.
This issue confirm this is not just a hype but the real deal and you don't want to miss this.
D'Orc #2
D’Orc is avoiding every wizard and warrior because some DOOMSDAY prophecy says he will destroy the world. Can he change their minds? Probably not. D’Orc, his magic shield, and Ghost-chicken-with-its-head-cutoff are too busy facing a bigger challenge, KIDS!?! They’re time thieves. Oh, and there’s a Time Lord. That guy sucks.
This issue is a step up compared to the first issue. It really gets you attached to the characters and pulls you in the story.
A little bird told me issue 3 is even better...can't wait
Bleeding Hearts #2
A world overrun by flesh-eating zombies is the only world young Rabbit has ever known…and her mother, Cara, has done everything she can to get her ready to survive in it. But she never expected to meet a zombie who seemed to want to help her with this goal!
If you're not giving this more than a 9,5/10, I can't trust you XD
Absolute Batman #18
After the explosive reveal ending last issue, and Batman continues to fight Poison Ivy's mutated monsters and winds up uncovering an even more gruesome horror that has embedded itself in the city's very foundations. All while the Joker's machinations start to coalesce in a partnership with a new ally.
The intro of this series is gives you more story than this first issue as a whole... which is kinda dissapointing tbh... The read itself, the story and art quality is good and overall fun. The hype is what it is.
Narco #1
MINISERIES PREMIERE Marcus Wesphal has a rare form of narcolepsy- when he gets excited, he passes out. He's adapted: homebound life, a harmless infatuation with the girl next door. But when he witnesses her murder and collapses, he becomes suspect #1. Now, he must leave his apartment to pursue a killer.
Close to perfection. It proves that it's a monthly must read.
Absolute Wonder Woman #17
Diana faces off against a team assembled with only one mission in mind: take down Wonder Woman at any cost. But after a strangely intimate betrayal, Diana finds herself outplayed, boxed in, and running out of options…
