You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Sep 16, 2026It's a very down-to-earth, sort of a romantic drama. (At least as witnessed by the first issue.) the fact that.March manages to make it visually appealing without doing anything terribly fantastic with this site setting or the themes or anything like that is pretty impressive. That I'll just a matter of reflecting things is just right on the page to create something that feels essentially enjoyable, even when it gets a little weird. Mark really has something in the first issue. Given the way he's bringing it to the page, the charm might not be able to survive too far into the series. Sep 15, 2026Ofiusa #1 is an unusual, sensual debut that immediately stands apart from most American comics. Guillem March approaches its sexuality with an artist's eye, lingering on bodies and movement while surrounding his characters with beautifully realized environments. The relationship between Joan, Isla, and Mar remains deliberately difficult to decipher, giving the series plenty of mystery to explore. Occasional difficult lettering interrupts the experience, but March's artwork and willingness to embrace erotic storytelling make this a fascinating start. There really isn't anything else quite like Ofiusa on shelves right now, and March's sensual approach gives the book an undeniable heat that gets the blood pumping. Read Full Review

I’m not super invested in the story at this point, but I’m still curious to see where it goes because this is just the opener and it sets up the characters and setting, and I imagine more of the meat will come into it as it continues. The writing is very well done, but what exactly is this comic about? It feels like some dude explaining how much ass he got during a vacation.
