What an amazing issue. Where does the story go from here? Doom is back, but what happens now that he has returned? What awaits Ross for acting on his own? So many questions that this team left in waiting, and I can’t wait to see where the story takes us in the run-up to Armageddon. Read Full Review

The series is the benchmark for great storytelling in the mainline Marvel Comics universe. Chip Zdarsky is penning what might be the best lead-in story for a Marvel event in quite some time. The story is everything you would want out of a Captain America storyline. It has action, political intrigue, espionage and it all blends together in a way that comes together in a brilliant masterpiece. Together with artwork that is the best artwork you will read on the stands this week, this is an issue you CANNOT miss. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - Jacob Kent

Issue #11 of Captain America gives us three shocking revelations before the end of the book, and each one is earned, resulting in a practically flawless entry in Chip Zdarsky’s already high-quality run. The stakes and drama here feel massive, and even the shocking death towards the end of the issue feels less like a gimmick and more like an important turning point in the series. Add this to your pull list immediately. Read Full Review

    Plot
Captain America helps Nick Fury disarm the woman who was secretly raising a 10-12 year old clone of Victor Von Doom. Cap thinks it's Doctor Doom's secret weapon, but the real weapon is with him: a mysterious backpack.

The plan is for the clone to live a normal life as a model citizen and then seize power when he grows up.

But to everyone's surprise, General Ross gives the Hulk serum to a group of soldiers, and transformed into Red Hulk, he attacks Doomstadt, proclaiming that Latveria is now under the control of the U.S. government. This attack is carried out by Ross without government approval, apparently.

Red Hulk is about to kill the clone when Sam Wilson, the other Captain America, takes him away. Howe more

This was just a great issue. And I thought Schitis art improved in this issue.

Great story. The art is fine, nothing special, but really shines in the Red Hulk scenes.
