This is another comic I’m going to wait a few issues on and see what the reviews are like. I just don’t find the Flash family that interesting.

Not my favorite issue.
Also character developed of Zatanna feels very limited.
Absolute Wonder Woman #18
What happens when you send a witch to kill a witch? Time to find out as the daughters of the most powerful magic users in the universe come together at last, forced into combat with devastating stakes—it’s the Witch of the Wild Isle versus Zatanna Zatara, the Mistress of Magic!
Issue 18 of Absolute Wonder Woman is a bit of a slow down from last weeks kinda lazy grow bigger punch fest. We get some nice moments here with Diana and Zatanna after they have a brief battle. The book features Dianas full cast of friends made along the series. If you haven't been paying full attention, you'll have next to no idea who the hell these people all are. If you have - it's a nice callb more

Adventures of Superman: Book of El #7
Superman will always help someone in need, but since he was thrown into the future, his first priority has been to rescue Otho and Osul-Ra. The Valkyries of Phaelosia have offered him a chance to reunite with his daughter, but will that give him time to save his son? What sacrifices are necessary to prevent Kryl-Ux from rewriting reality? And Ronan...
Lot going on in this issue.
I thought the visual storytelling around the father box and what was going on could have been stronger. Still my favorite current title.
Absolute Superman #18
“Reign of the Superman” kicks off here with the debut of not one but two Absolute Universe reinventions! The Battle of Kansas may have put the Lazarus Corporation into retreat, but it’s left behind some terrifying surprises in its hidden caches of weapons and world-ending secrets. The most dangerous of all? The sarcophagus of the legendary King Sha...
Batman #8
A hero. A villain. A reporter. Three old men, on one night in Gotham, each have encounters that will reverberate across their city forever. Series writer Matt Fraction is joined by sensational guest artist Ryan Sook for an unforgettable new chapter of the Caped Crusader’s ongoing story.
Wow, this issue was a breath of fresh air! Coming off of Waid’s action-packed KO time travel Impulse opus, it’s nice for this new team to do a reset and tee up the tone and style they intend to bring to the book. Waid helped give the book a needed sales boost after the horrific Spurrier run, and now hopefully North and Guidry can bring in new fans who are looking for something fun and interesting more
Flash #31
Wally West: father, husband, and fastest man alive. And now with DC K.O. in the rearview mirror, Wally can finally relax and live his best life. Or can he? Because an awful lot of people are suddenly relying on the Flash to save them—and intentionally putting themselves in danger to ensure that he does! Something sinister is happening behind the sc...
I’m a HUGE Kyle Rayner fan, dating back to his introduction in the early 90s in the classic Emerald Twilight arc. The Marz/Banks run was great and Kyle kept the torch alive for 10 years until Geoff Johns brought Hal back and rebooted the Corps. I love that Adams has decided to pivot over to Kyle and make him the focus for a while while Hal leaves to go do….whatever. And this is where the wheels co more
Green Lantern #33
In this special, oversize 600th issue, Hal Jordan will be tested as never before…and a new Lantern stands poised to step in should he fail. Hal embarks on a mysterious mission while Kyle Rayner finally moves back to Los Angeles and again takes up the mantle of Green Lantern of Earth. Join Kyle as he finds a job, navigates traffic, and chases down e...
I’m tempted to pick this up but I don’t know. I just don’t have the faith in Jeremy Adams to write Kyle. I will wait it out a few issues and see what the reviews are like.
Writing on this needs to step it up.
Universal Monsters: The Phantom of the Opera #2
THE MUST-READ HORROR SERIES OF THE YEAR CONTINUES Christine’s world has never been brighter...but when The Phantom of The Opera strikes again, nothing will ever be the same.
I’m grateful that Sean Murphy, Nicola Scott, Gail Simone and Steve Leiber were here.
And I guess I make the right call on passing on the current work of mark waid at DC.
Superman / Spider-Man #1
LEGENDARY CREATORS TAKE ON THE MAN OF STEEL AND YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN! Written by Mark Waid, Tom King, Matt Fraction, Sean Murphy, Gail Simone, Christopher Priest, Greg Rucka and Jeff Lemire Art by Jorge Jimenez, Jim Lee, Steve Lieber, Sean Murphy, Belen Ortega, Daniel Sampere, Nicola Scott and Rafa Sandoval The Last Son of Krypton ...

Superman #36

Normally, Prime has only been part of massive DC events, but now he gets a real shot at showing the world he can be just as great a hero as Superman! Superstar artist Dan Mora returns to Superman for an action-packed and fun adventure...
Crazy stuff
Knight City #2
A brand-new action-adventure series by BRZRKR’s Matt Kindt and Stray Bullets’ David Lapham that’s Fight Club meets Superman.
How do you murder a man so super he can't be hurt? How do you kill a man with impenetrable skin? How do you execute a man who is physically impervious to violence? Knight's archenemy has figured out a way to kill...
Enjoying this. Hope it doesn’t get cancelled too soon.
End of Life #2
Okay, so maybe hiding out in this podunk town with his sick father, estranged ex, and nauseatingly pleasant townsfolk was a bad idea. But Eddie has a plan to make things right. If he can just giveback what he stole from the Raven, no harm no foul, right? His accomplices, the Murder Brothers, will help him out...right? Wrong, dog. Very wrong.
I dropped the prior series because I thought it was too drawn out.
The pace of this series is much better. Very much enjoying it.
The Banner and Betty part of it is key.
Infernal Hulk #5
INFERNAL VERSUS ALMIGHTY! As Infernal Hulk prepares to deal his death blow against Earth, a being of unimaginable power descends from the heavens to save us: the Creator of the Marvel Universe himself! Everything on Earth will change after this shocking, never-before-seen battle for the ages: INFERNAL HULK versus THE ONE ABOVE ALL!
The issues we see how much of a threat this infernal hulk is, are definitely highlights for me. Honestly how the story juggles three different narratives are all equally incredible.

I guess this is not for everyone. But I liked it.
I appreciate the art isn’t marvel house style.
The art reminds of Tim sale. Bazaldua has a lot of potential.
Captain America #8
THE HUNT FOR SALVATION ON THE ROAD TO ARMAGEDDON! CAPTAIN AMERICA has formed an alliance with the LATVERIAN LIBERATORS to put a stop to violent insurgent leader SALVATION and his domineering TRUE LATVERIA army. But Salvation won't back down without a fight, and Steve is determined to bring him to justice even in the face of resistance from his own ...
Some of the art work looked rushed. Otherwise this would have been a 10.
Ultimates #22
Definitely what the series needed.
Absolute Flash #13
Wally tries to pick up the pieces of his life after the battle at Fort Fox. Adrift and unsure what to do, the young speedster looks for a way forward.
I liked it but thought it ended abruptly.
Batwoman #1
Batwoman. Daughter. Sister. Soldier. Hero. But since she was 10 years old, Kate Kane has lived in the shadow of a prophecy and the machinations of a religion devoted to the end of all things. How do you fight the devil when the devil is real? And how do you win? Acclaimed writer and co-creator of the modern Batwoman Greg Ruck returns to the story o...
A nice start, although I must say I was hoping for more. Rucka and DaNi is a duo that I feel had a lot of promise and I do still think this has a lot of potential to become better than what it is here. That said, this was a bit slow, without much being established. Perhaps this might work better if it were placed at a different point in the series, though I did like it overall. Rucka does a nice j more
