The art and action were good, but unfortunately the plot twist was extremely predictable. Also, kinda lame that Owen just happened to fall out of a plane directly onto the exact place they were trying to get to. And how did his family arrive?

This was a pretty solid start. Felt like an entire story in a single issue. I loved the design for this Green Lantern, and the concept of a world in darkness and a single lantern holding it back is really cool. Art was awesome and suited the tone. The writing was decent, not amazing but not bad either. I had high hopes for this Elseworlds tale and this was a fairly promising start.

Interesting... I don't know that I expected everything to get wrapped up in a tidy fashion, but I also didn't expect a cliffhanger. Anyway, my thoughts on Daniel Way's run overall are that I'm surprised that I actually managed to enjoy it. The earlier stuff was honestly quite good. We finally get some more answers with regards to the nanobot things, and honestly...the revelation is pretty cool. The art is still mostly bad, but there were actually a couple really cool shots in this one, particularly of Spider-Man in the rain.

Some of us use this site to find new comics to read and the ratings/reviews help figure out which ones might be worthwhile, but your dishonest ratings skew the overall scores and make it really difficult to get a true sense of a book's quality. If you're not going to give honest ratings, then get off the site and leave it to the people who take it seriously.
