Glad to say that this was the best issue so far, in my opinion. Garbett is really killing it with both the covers and the interiors of this book, and I'm enjoying just about every part of the story from Phillips. I appreciate that she isn't afraid to give Matt a more humorous side, as seen in his, respective, interactions with Peter and Ben. Furthermore, I think she's doing a really nice job of telling a story that's not super crazy, while also keeping it intriguing and engaging.

I had high hopes for this title, I love the gritty Daredevil tales and the show. The story isn’t bad and the art is well done, but it is not all that engaging either. Nothing really new here and the pace is pretty slow. It seems like Phillips is trying to create some tension that just really isn’t there. Seems like they are extending a mediocre story to keep us buying more. Once again not terrible, just not all that great either. This is on a tight leash for my pull list.

If either Phillips or Garbett stepped up their work, this could become an intriguing comic, but so far, it’s just readable.
