Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles
Jun 03, 2026Rook Exodus 10 delivers on everything that’s made the series such a thrilling read. The good news is that Rook Exodus is already slated for a mere one-month break with the next installment set for August. Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026Stag’s quest for vengeance leads Rook to make a dangerous gamble. The writing dips into the emotional pulls of Exodus’ unforgiving ways. Fabok and Anderson construct bittersweet images through the chaotic search for answers. A sci-fi saga with much more happening than readers could ever expect. Don’t miss out. Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026Rook: Exodus #10 returns with a character-focused issue that also boasts the incredible visuals that have made this a standout in Ghost Machine's lineup. While there's going to be yet another wait for the next issue, I don't mind if we get more comics on this level. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jun 03, 2026There really is just so much that could be explored on the planet Exodus given the basic nature of the premise. There's a lot of different ways that the story could develop with a whole bunch of different characters who are all wardens of different animals. It's a bit frustrating that the story has to play out in such a limited way on such a limited scale for just a few pages per issue. It's not hard to imagine so many different situations that would come into play between so many different wardens that are controlling so many different animals on a planet that is vaguely familiar. We've been waiting a while for this issue to come out and I'm willing to wait a similar amount if it's delivering the same quality as issue #10. What a fantastic, action full, hearthwarming read with some of the most amazing art from my boy J. Fabok and Brand Anderson.
The moment you feel the comic issue is too short, but already at p.25, you know it's good. Really good.

Plot
Stag, the Guardian of the Deer, remembers when his wife Ayame was still alive and was killed by Bloodhound. He forms an alliance with Rook to escape Arachnid's web.
Rook convinces Stag that Bloodhound wasn't responsible for Ayame's death. The Warden's helmets affect the psyche of their wearers, and prolonged use causes the animals to eventually control the humans who wear them. Rook makes it clear that only Bloodhound can reactivate the World Engine, since Arachnid, who is possibly being controlled by the spiders, is the one who damaged it. Stag must spare Bloodhound's life.
Rook and Stag fight their way through and rescue Dire Wolf, Matterhorn, and Bloodhound. Dire Wolf removes the helmet from his father, Bloodho more -

Is it too much to ask for a reliable release date for a great comic book?As great as Rook Exodous is, the scheduleing has been horrible. Even bimonthly would be welcomed but September??It's ridiculous.
