Really solid start. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this one. With Absolute Green Arrow, there were a lot of hooks going in (slasher horror, killing billionaires, the mystery of who Green Arrow is, etc.). Here, there wasn't really much to go off of aside from the solicitation itself (which I did feel was on the more generic side) and the fact that we're focusing on a character introduced in Absolute Batman. All of that said, I thought this was pretty good. I definitely felt that Bengal's art was the strongest aspect of this, but I didn't think Grayson was bad on the writing duties either. I don't mention Snyder because I do have a feeling that he's more of a story consultant on this, rather than a full-on writer, in that he's there to make sure that nothing conflicts with plans for Absolute Batman. I could be 100% wrong about that, though. Anyways, there were spots where I felt that the writing wasn't the most interesting, but I do definitely think enough was done to keep me consistently invested and, now, looking forward to the next issue (Especially with the newest introduction to the Absolute Universe: Cassandra Cain. Very excited to see this universe's version of her).more

Is it too much to ask for a reliable release date for a great comic book?As great as Rook Exodous is, the scheduleing has been horrible. Even bimonthly would be welcomed but September??It's ridiculous.

Hyde Street is the best horror comic out by far.With great writing and art in each issue by two of the best in the business.Im looking forward to the deluxe version of this title.

A waste of time and money.DC is hurting Batman with these stupid Hush stories that nobody asked for.Maybe try coming up with a new idea instead of milking previous stories?

Plot
The Trillion Dollar Kid is the one who begins narrating this installment and introduces new characters to this universe of the Unbelievables, then places itself four weeks after the terrible disappearance of Roland, where the whole family, Rachel, Rae, Richie and Rodney returned to their home taking care of Raina, who lost the memory of everything that happened, especially her responsibi lity with Roland's disappearance.

This comic is a prequel, as the story goes back to the first day the family arrived in 2026 as part of the future witness protection program. It shows how they adapted to the new currency and customs, and how they all mourn the death of Grandma Rosie. Therefore, it's important to read THE ROCKETFELLERS #1 to refresh your memory of what happened.

Roland accidentally triggered an electromagnetic wave that alerted a young boy, who is investigating the existence of exceptional people he calls The Unbelievables. This investigation marks the beginning of a new universe that includes Hornsby and Halo.
