The art teams deliver the same level of quality as they did in the series, but the writing is all over the map, much like the imprint as a whole. I have the same feeling with this as I had with Ultimate Endgame #5.
Whatever.
All this just feels like damage control after Marvel realized no one liked UE and no one wanted Ultimate Universe to end. And with the success of Absolute universe from DC, they are just scrambling while trying to figure out what to do.
Ultimate Potential-Man's fate is actually funny. It really is "no responsibility, no consequences" which was the theme of Ultimate Potential-Man vol 3. -

this may sound so messed up, but I honestly don't know how this entire series has gotten critical acclaim. I feel that the critics are overhyped or tend to have "lower" expectations than comic book readers. But on the flip side, it is a lot better compared to the negative culture war reviewers.
Anyway, Ultimate Endgame and Finale is probably my least favorite "ending" of the decade. It is just bland, mediocre, and forgettable. The stories we have weren't even entertaining or made me miss the characters. The problem is that the characters aren't engaging because it felt that there were more stories other tell, but instead of flashbacks or filler issues of other characters, we don't develop the main ones.
