I enjoyed this series so much, sad to see it end, but happy it didn't over extend its stay either. It was short and sweet. Great horror/fantasy elements. Written by a film director, and it shows, visuals and story flowed very much like a film. I hope this creative team returns, possibly in a follow up to this series?

It's dark, the main characters are all despicable, and are all part of some weird religious cult that worships the god Odin. One reporter has infiltrated herself in the ranks...she thinks all the God talk is wishful thinking...and that none of it is real. But in this issue, she is apparently proven wrong! Still wondering if they will actually meet the real Odin or if its all just a deadly drug tri p mixed with religious fanatism. more

Screw the naysayers, I have enjoyed Mark Spears art since day one. It's not AI you morons, he draws, then gives it a look with his computer colors and apps...it's his art enhanced and made to look a certain way. That being said, I love what he is doing with his comic Monsters and I love his new Spawn '77. It's a whole new Spawn, it kind of like feels like McFarlane's version of DC's Absolute Unive rse. It's what Spawn would've been like if McFarlane had done Spawn back in 1977 when he first envisioned it. Enjoying the gangster retro style of the story. And I absolutely love how Mark Spears makes Spawn look! Recommend it for it's extremely interesting visual style, but also the story has got me! A winner so far. more

I love Superman, I love the art and story..but I hate it when from issue to issue it feels like a million things have happened and the story changes, there's no flow or continuity in the book, which I'm trying to collect but can't seem to follow unless I buy a million other books...how is this story already in part 4? DC is guilty of doing this way too much. It's also going on in Batman?

Awesome art by Steve Skroce in a story about the pits and falls of collecting comic books as an obsession. Kind of makes you think about what it is you do by collecting boxes and boxes of these books! But at the same time, it made me think about how I collect comics because I love them, the stories, the art and the fandom. It tells the tale of two Kirby/Stan Lee type creators who are in their old age and basically hate each other...but they don't expect their creations to become real. It reminded me of the concept behind the film Galaxy Quest. Will for sure get issue two, loved how its making fun of comic conventions and the whole marketing money making side of comics. more

Loving that this is leading towards The Turtles vs. an Army of Undead that have been brought from the afterlife! The turtles used a magical amulet to bring Splinter and their mother back from the dead...but now the bad guys have the amulet and want to use it to bring forth an army of dead foot clan soldiers! But now they are considering that maybe they should not have done this? What are the conse quences? Is this natural? This should be fun! I have really been loving this run which has been excellent in terms of writing and art, keep it up IDW! more

I'm liking the whole breaking the 4th wall concept of having the characters talk to the audience and referencing comic book collecting. It looks like it could lead into Superboys own comic series with that whole concept. The entire issue has Superboy fighting Manchester Black, but the cool thing is that it throws lot's of love towards comic books and collecting them, since Superboy works in a comi c book store and actually loves reading comics! Loving where this is leading...Williamson and Mora knocked it out of the park with this one! more

DC outshines Marvel every step of the way! This is right now one of the best drawn and written books in the DC Universe! Solid storytelling, dealing with some real world issues. Picheshote storytelling is solid and runs at such an amazing pace...have been really enjoying and understanding this storyline, something not all writers achieve. This writer has a sense of storytelling I am digging. And t he art is solid, clear detailed images with a sense of style! Albuquerque is shining here. This should be at the top of everybody's pull list don't miss out! more

The artwork is beautiful, and appropriate for this type of story which is all about Lovecraft looking back at his life...analyzing it before dying. Loved the imagery and the mood. Loved the details about Lovecraft's life....the letters he wrote, it's a comic that a Lovecraft fan will enjoy all the way.

It's a story about a bunch of racist friends getting together to call upon a God, to get some sort of blessing from him. They feel like they are the top of the top best of the best as far as humanity goes and everyone else is dirt, so expect a story where basically all the characters are deplorable, worth your hatred. So far, they are getting what's coming to them. It's a story with a very dark au ra to it. It feels EVIL, which is a good thing because it means that the writers and artists are doing a good job at transmitting a vibe. Looking forward to seeing where this ends. more

This series is purposely going for rule breaking, so do not expect a common comic book. It goes to the beat of its own verbose drum! Deadman and his companion child have to go to hell in search for answers, how to stop a demon that's killing spirits? It's a challenge to read but a beauty to look at for sure! It's a mish mash of religious ideals, some christian, some not so much...but it makes for an interesting hodge-pudge of a story! It kind of reminds me of what it felt like to read a Neil Gaiman Sandman comic! In other words, it's a comic made for those that enjoy both the lyrical and the visual side of reading comic books. Loving it. more

This series has been dealing with a very real issue all Puerto Ricans are dealing with: the struggle in seeing public beaches turned into tourist hotels and resorts, effectively taking the beaches from the people, who have always enjoyed them for free! Aside from that, it shows our culture and struggle from a realistic standpoint, it doesn't feel like a joke, which is always the danger when depict ing a culture. The struggle seen through these characters is real and the Beast of Boriken is a representation of the rage and anger Puerto Ricans feel. The beas is most certainly a form of poetic justice. I'm enjoying this series to the fullest, Daniel Irizarry's art is as detailed and beautiful to look at as always. Kudos to this creative team! more

I love the sweetness of the recent stories with the reunion of the whole turtle/rat/human family, and it's great to see the brothers finally getting along and learning to appreciate each other. This issue leaves us in a cliffhanger for the upcoming issue #300 which I absolutely cannot wait to see!

Dr. Doom deems Jay and Silent Bob as the biggest threat to his existence, so of course it's up to the entire Marvel Universe to protect them! This was an extremely fun one-shot! The art is awesome and the situations? Hilarious, I was literally laughing the whole way! I was like wow a COMIC book that is actually comic! As in funny! It made me think that maybe Kevin Smith is better at writing comic books than movies. Kevin Smith had the idea for this cross over since his Mallrats days, and it's finally here and it's worth the wait! more

This series keeps getting better with time. It feels like you are watching an episode of the Twilight Zone. This issue starts out giving Psycho vibes, but then goes directly into Twilight Zone territory. The artwork is amazing and the story has that Twilight Zone vibe to it, loved it. Keep it going IDW!

I think about it very carefully before buying a new comic because you know, I don't want to spend my hard end money on the crap, but I took a chance with this one because I glanced through the pages and was wowed by the atmospheric art by Matthew Roberts. Michael Chaves tells this tale in a very cinematic way, I'm really loving it because I grow tired of comic book stories and art that I can't und erstand. This one is told and drawn in such a way that becomes an interesting read. The little girl is looking for Joan of Arc, will she find her with her dad. more

Loving every second of this Twilight Zone inspired horror comic. Hyde Street is a place where these killers take care of evil souls...it's where you go to pay for your sins. But what happens when the mysterious butcher is killing all the killers on Hyde Street? I'm pulled in by this comic, love the art, the story, everything is pitch perfect, so many characters, so many different tales...I love al l the different directions the comic takes from issue to issue, yet one central storyline holds everything together in this strange and interesting world. Who is killing the killers? And why? The events on this particular issue where shocking to say the least! more

Loved this issue, it felt like a battle of the gods, with Superman going against Shazam, loved how it was one of those battles where they destroy the world as they fight. Also, saw a glimpse of Absolute Batman watching the fight from the background...I smell a crossover and this is extremely exciting! Great action filled issue.

I was a little let down to find out that the issue wasn't entirely drawn by Jorge Corona, instead they go into some flashback that switches artist...and the art is like this over simplified style that I dislike and sad part is that it goes on for most of the issue. Felt a bit like a filler issue...I hope it goes back to the gritty Corona style for the next one. I am enjoying the funny and biting s tyle of this comic. I hope next issue is better than this one which felt a bit like a "filler". more

Took a bit of getting used to, but I finally got to like this creative team. They got me with this issue which manages to unite the brothers and actually the entire family, in a very touching and exciting way. A story with lots of heart at its core. Kudos to the creative team, they had big shoes to fill, but they did an amazing job with this story. TMNT book is at my top of the must read list righ t now. more
