Though the art wasn't really doing it for me, solid issue and it's great to see Kal has taken that next step of exemplifying hope. I also appreciated how Kal has gotten through to Ra's but Aaron kept things realistic where he still escapes and falls back to his nature which is far more realistic than a corny Grinch heart growing moment.

Dead Book Walking. This entire run of Star Wars has been boring and inconsequential. Segura needs to be fired and Marvel needs to do something to get some hype going for the Star Wars line stat!

Such a shame that the sad state of Marvel has fallen upon the Star Wars books too. This should be such an exciting time for Star Wars comics finally diving into new territory with the original series crew yet we're given a below average writer telling the most bland story with all generic new characters. The only decent moment was Valance sparing Han from killing the villain.

Completely apathetic to everything happening and really hope Marvel Star Wars gets their house in order to restart stories in this era with a talented new creative team.more

Both volumes have been amazing and this was a fantastic final issue to a truly special series. Great to see a legend like Dan Jurgens still putting out classics.

This issue was fantastic and Carol losing her mind over her proposal getting ruined was hilarious. Especially as neither Hal or Carol looked right which was especially jarring for an issue focusing on their relationship. Adams killed it on writing so it was a shame it wasn't complimented by the art.

This is some of Taylor's best work in a long time and hope he keeps this up as this is so far the best Detective run I can think of since Tynion was on it.

It's criminal not just what a let down this series has been, but more so to have Dan Mora's talents wasted on such mediocre stories. I'm a Mark Waid DC fan but this series has just never felt important or cohesive yet Mora keeps pumping out some of the best art in the industry.

This issue was tons of fun. This series has really felt stagnant for a while but this issue finally takes an interesting angle for something fresh. Hopefully the story keeps up this pace and the series will end at issue 50 on a high note than continue on with more mediocrity.

Everything here seemed rushed. The art has a huge drop in quality in some panels.
It's impressive that an arc lasting over a year brought nothing new to the main character of the comic.

Nightwing, merely an observer in his own comic, achieves no victory in the end. He failed to save the children; one was left behind because Nightwing nev er found a way to defeat Zanni. And he just stood by while the Justice League and the gangs cleaned up the city he failed to protect. And on top of that, the comic wants the reader to see this as a victory.

Not even Taylor could write such an incapable Nightwing.
