Jun 10, 2026This issue brings to light the true definition and purpose of family. Family fun day turned out to be fun for the Hamato family but on two different levels. I am happy with how this issue was put together. I was leery because I did not want this issue to be just a “filler” issue till fans get the new storyline, and it was not that. Gene teases readers to stay focused on what’s to come within the next story! Go get this issue from your local comic shop today! Read Full Review

Jun 10, 2026Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #19 switches up and delivers a more fun and relaxed issue compared to the intense story that just rapped up. This allows the reader to breathe a bit and enjoy the world before jumping back into the deep end. With issue 300 right around the corner, this was a wise decision that really pays off. With that being said, the last pages of the issue set up the next serious story arc, while not feeling too heavy. This is the start of a new arc and is a perfect jumping on point for readers that may not have been reading the series already. Read Full Review

Nice cool down issue with the family getting a chance to bond that also introduced a few new interesting threats for upcoming stories. My only gripe was how jarring Shin's excuse to go back to the afterlife was and would have made so much more sense and natural for her to say she has to go back to maintain the balance or tend to her responsibilities.
