You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Sep 09, 2026It's not a deliciously, appealing sort of horror. There's a real darkness here that is difficult to enjoy. But it's even more difficult to ignore. And so there's a kind of a liberation at the end of any issue of Odin. It almost feels like you're surviving something just having reached the triangle page. It's dark, the main characters are all despicable, and are all part of some weird religious cult that worships the god Odin. One reporter has infiltrated herself in the ranks...she thinks all the God talk is wishful thinking...and that none of it is real. But in this issue, she is apparently proven wrong! Still wondering if they will actually meet the real Odin or if its all just a deadly drug trip mixed with religious fanatism.
