Sep 22, 2026Corpse Knight #6 brings Foy's bloody journey to a satisfying close, paying off its supernatural mysteries with a finale centered on family, honesty, and the consequences of buried secrets. Michael Chaves gives the story an emotional core while Matthew Roberts and Rico Renzi deliver some of the series' strongest horror imagery. The decompressed pacing remains an issue, with much of the finale devoted to a single extended confrontation, but the complete series should benefit considerably from being read in one sitting. I enjoyed this series so much, sad to see it end, but happy it didn't over extend its stay either. It was short and sweet. Great horror/fantasy elements. Written by a film director, and it shows, visuals and story flowed very much like a film. I hope this creative team returns, possibly in a follow up to this series?
