Screw it, 10/10.

Escape has managed to be one of Remenders best titles and for a guy that's put out like 8 books in the last 5 years that's no small feat.

The tone and the dialoge and the characterization is simply immaculate. The art is some of the best on the stands right now, and that is SAYING something.

The premise is simple, but its execution is brilliant. T his series is pulse pounding edge of your seat stuff... and you dint even notice you're reading animal characters.more

A brilliant ending to a brilliant comic. One of Remender's best. I honestly think his fantasy books are better than anything else he writes. He just seems to understand the genre and knows how to craft an incredibly compelling story. This will definitely go down as one of my favourite series' of all time. A true masterpiece.

Beautiful heart wrenching comic series. I loved it. This might be the comic series of the decade.

A bitter, beautifully worded coda to thus series... it is unforgiving and blunt just like life. But it offers a hard fought hope for the future
This book will be missed. What its message truly is, may that be a point of discourse to come. Several interpretations can be drawn. I wish they'd have thrown another arc in the middle of the timeskip, but other than that no notes.

I really love a dialogue-less comic. Especially when done proper.
The story is told with all actions and emotions, with the occasional text from wall signs or computer screen Ghost walks by them. This issue really shows the creative teams excellent understanding of cats. Especially Trish Forstner, as she brilliantly captures the inquisitive and earnest expressions on Ghost's face.

I had to re-read this immediately after, to get a better feeling of the flow of the story. My first reading, I was too focused on scouring each panel for hidden clues and details adding extra layers to the storytelling. The emails we could see on the open computers show characters that I'm sure will play significant rolls in the later issues.

Love this comic immensely! The only gripe are the scenes when something bad happens to one of the animals. And there was a particularly heartbreaking scene in this issue, that was masterfully conveyed. Maybe a little TOO well conveyed!!!!

All and all, this is a series that is definitely worth reading. I'm just glad I jumped on while the single issues were all still fairly readily available. Been hooked ever since.more

Good but short. I don’t like the split issue format. Just as the issue began to pick up momentum it was over.

I like the development the characters are getting. Especially Elsie.
Lord is finally starting to show some maturity and that’s a good thing. I can’t wait for the next issue, but it’s frustrating because I know that issue 24 will have the same shortness of the chapter beca use of the issue being shared with the other story dealing with the Stray Dogs. The portion dealing with the dogs was also very good but it too was over far too soon. The dogs are fine but I honestly am really only interested in the cats that we have been following this whole time. The side by side separate stories feel very much like they are just building towards the conclusion in advertised anniversary issue number 25. This current arc was most definitely written for the trade.

Im reading this very late and already read the FBCD issue so I know the big twist herein, but the rest of this book is a banger too. The classic style coloring and the artwork.. phenomenal. This feels like G.I. Joe every which way.

What a great ending to this arc. I liked Cobra Commander turning the tides, simply by offering money and a partnership. Destro finally deciding that Cobra Commander was needed for Cobra to be successful. I was wondering all of this time where Zartan had gone and boom, he finally shows up. Good stuff.

Incredibly artwork and an Intriguing setting with a setup driven by characterization. This is a strong start to a story and a worthy addition to Stan Sakai's legacy.

What a brilliant comic. Hits you in the feels, hard.

Not gonna lie, the cover for Transformers #29, had me concerned … the cover A art just isn’t that good, however EVERY page of the interior was spectacular. This was an all-out, straight-up, action packed issue! Picking up right where issue 28 left off, Megatron was literally eating Trailbreaker and Optimus Prime has had enough. He goes after Megatron with full force and before you can say “one sha ll stand, one shall fall” it becomes a massive brawl between all of the Autobots and all of the Decepticons. Each page is rendered with beautiful precision by Dan Mora … this guy is an Action Master (see what I did there). No humans … no M.A.S.K. … just robot on robot combat! Well done and exactly what the series needed. Arcee, Magnus, even Beachcomber all got their moments, top tier from the first page to the last. Best book of the week … maybe the month! more

Brutal.

Alright ... Transformers 28 was STACKED with all sorts of story points and some action mixed in for good measure. Megatron is going cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, Arcee is becoming the new Magnus, Spike & Carly are getting back to normal, Autobots "roll out", and Trailbreaker has a bad day. This was a great Transformers comic, giving everyone a little something while dropping a cliffhanger at the end. T he story & pace are on point and the art ... WOW ... Optimus Prime has seldom looked so good. My only issue was that they keep putting peanut butter in my chocolate ... I really think the MASK plot should be in GI Joe or it's own book. Still an excellent issue and I highly recommend it! more

The way Scott and Nick mimics the vibe and thrill that Frank Millers Batman run brought, it's amazing to relive that in this ongoing series. In my opinions it even surpasses Frank Millers.. Just be aware that this Batman series will be read by our kids and their friends.

Keep reading this, its the best.
