WOW. Fuck, I can't not give a 10 to that... No words, but so many emotions... The art is outstanding as well. I laughed at this and felt very warm somewhere deep in the heart. Such a great holiday story...

10/10 of 6 critic reviews? That's something surprising... I remember reading it as a kid and I loved this mini-series too. But do I still love it the same way? I think, yes! This story has some interesting ideas and is ultimately hilarious. However, I think it's not a 10/10.

That's much more a 10 for me. Very solid and strong story, many hilarious gags, awesome "classic-style" art. Yeah, I definitely love this issue more, than previous.

Hey, it was funny enough. This issue is mega hilarious. It was an interesting story. Plus I really like to see their relationship through different periods. At this point they are a real friends and not just some rivals. I remember that in the 5th issue Peter became even the part of their family.

This was awesome... Kinda silly, but still funny. You will have a large amount of positive emotions reading this, I swear.

That was a perfect conclusion for the series. Totally deserved 10.

Awesome limited series

This one starts way better, but mostly because previous series ended on a cliffhanger.

This one is waaaaaaaay better. But I highly recommend you to read it in chronological order.

It is really nice addition to the series that was published 25 years before this comic. But it still looks just like it was made in the 90's... So cool, they really didn't lose that vibe. The iconic epilogue for the iconic series.

Nuff said. Legend. Masterpiece. There's almost no comics like this one. Unique idea and spectacular art, that worth to take place in museum. If you hate it, than you never really loved comics. Yeah, there's a recap of many events of earth-616, but now we look at them from the other perspective. It's not a stupid retelling.

The best volume so far. It's so emotional, I really cried around 3 times through this story. Awesome conclusion to their story arc. This book needs a movie. It would be an oscar, I swear you.

Well, I can understand this amount of hate around this series. But I still don't see enough green reviews that this series deserves. Do you think, that there's no beginning? That's because it is not the beginning. For the beginning read Marvel Zombies: Dead Days one shot and then Ultimate Fantastic Four 21-23. I think, they could made dead days part of this series, but UFF story arc still would be missed and it would be stupid to replicate that story. Do you think the art is bad? It is horrific! Some faces actually could really scare you, if you were younger. In my opinion, it is very fitting. I enjoy every page of this art. And how can you say, that this writing is bad? Kirkman's dialogues are awesome. I simply love this series, I really enjoy all these characters talking and kinda figuring out what they became. Yeah, there's not much "story" in this issue, but it is the end for the Magneto of that universe and that end was shown ultimately cool. You don't like stories about zombies? Well, then most likely you won't love it. But if you even love Kirkman's The Walking Dead you still may hate it, because zombies here aren't stupid. They talk, they think and there aren't much living people in this world. But it's still very entertaining series to read. Want to say: this is another universe. It's not the same heroes, that we know. So, how can you be mad about all of them being zombified? It is not canon, why does it matter? Just enjoy the comic. Don't be fooled by all red reviews. Just read it and make your own opinion. What about me, I read this series around 10+ times for all these years and it still as awesome as it was the first time. And I can't say that about all these sequels, so I am a reasonable guy and not just some zombie fanatic.

Well, that every page of that Hank Pym scene was wery horrific, I love it. And that was about a half of this issue. The story is developing slowly, but can't say that's bad. Now there's Silver Surfer flying around and Galactus incoming. Well, food... I just don't understand how could these zombies eat (I MEAN EAT) all billions of people on their planet within 3 days. That's another stupidity and that wasn't even necessary. They could give them at least month to do that and send Surfer after that. However, that could do speedsters like Quicksilver or Speed or Northstar and etc. And even if they are dead, they are still... well... alive? Does Silver Surfer of their universe didn't swear not to feed to Galactus planets with life on them? But it is still a good comic.

Okay, surfer doesn't think, that they really deserve to "live". Well, I also noticed, that Thor wasn't worthy anymore and he fought with a self-made hammer... Could someone please explain to me what was that with the Wolverine's arm, when he attacked the Surfer? That was weird... Also, there was Ghost Rider. Okay, even a skeleton can be bitten... Yeah, he could be in his human form, but Colossus wasn't and he still was bitten. However, without all these stupid moments this series wasn't exist, but I love it, so it doesn't bother me, right? Well, if Hulk could bite Surfer's head off, when Tony Stark couldn't bite him, then The Thing could bite Colossus? That's the logic? Huh, those, who tasted Surfer, got his power and killed all other zombified heroes. But the Galactus arrived. And for the guy who "eats" planets, he was kinda too surprised, that zombies ate his herald. For me this issue was worse, than others, by some means. But however, there were too much events for the story and it's cool.

It gets more hilarious and less horrific. At that moment Robert too far gone with that black humor. And this issue is more disgusting, than others. But it's still nice reading for me. However, I can't understand why the Panther killed another living human. There are almost no people alive, that's stupid. And why Venom's fangs became typical zombie tooths?

This particular issue always makes me hungry... I don't know why. Well, that was epic. They fought all their arch enemies, then they devoured the devourer of the worlds and took his place, but in a much more horrific way... I think, it is a very cool decision and it makes this series to get a sequel.

Not a masterpiece, but still one of my favourite and unusual comic books.

This is the chronological beginning of Marvel Zombies. It was printed after the Marvel Zombies vol 1, so it was a good addition and this comic explains much. Robert Kirkman is awesome writer and Sean Phillips is a good artist too! This looks horrific and I simply love this series. However, there's not that much logic. I mean, originally Robert wanted to make Luke Cage the only survivor because of his unbreakable skin. But Greg Land already drawn him in Ultimate Fantastic Four #22. So, he just played with the cards he got. But Colossus somehow was easily made zombie too... That's just weird, I think it's naive and kinda lazy. Also Stark is inventing too fast, I don't believe it. And I know, that many people can hate Reed Richards here, but I think his behaviour is understandable. He lost his kids and maybe gone mad... Also it's just stupid, that meta-humans bite each other and don't eat other heroes to death, but they eat all people to death and people don't turn into monsters. That's weird. Why did they make themselves a competitors? Less zombies - more food... But if you will not think, than you will like this comic. It is a very good horror to read and super valuable addition to the series.

It's indeed outstanding in both story and art. JMS writes this as depressing and poetic as it should be. And still there's some slight happiness in it... There were years since the last time I read this book and I think this time it feels even greater. Can't wait to read the next issues. You know, I really even forgot how it feels when you just sit and slowly read through the book, without hurrying, relishes every page. JMS did the same good work with showing the fatality in Spider-Man's encounters with Morlun. Easily one of my favourite Spider-Man stories...

This is a masterpiece. I have a problem with Esad drawing Peter's lenses like that and with MJ's face, but it can't spoil me the book - it's still great. Every Marvel fan must read it - it's just awesome.

I would say this issue is rather weaker, than the previous two. There's too much pointless exposition and this didn't feel that personal for Surfer as the previous parts. However, it's still good. Especially the words of Norrin on the last page... I guess this deed was much more important, than showing the cosmic beauties to Peter's wife.

Nice beginning.

This is the one of Jack Kirby's masterpieces. Behold: Devil Dinosaur. At first I thought that it is a lame and weird idea, but this comic is amazing. I read it for the second time in my life after 5 years and I still love it. Art is almost flawless, story is cool. I think that Devil's origin is kind of strange and naive, but it's fine. This is only the beginning. Meet the Valley of Flame where Dinosaurs, giant spiders, giant ants and prehistorical people live and interact with each other! Not a bad start, but this series is have its aces up in the sleeves, I assure you. Can't wait to reread it.

Epic issue. Giant spider, killer-folk... And Dino shows pretty much good amount of intelligence. He's clever and a good strategist. He don't fight with every creature he sees. If he is outnumbered by enemies and can prepare for the battle, he finds a weapon. If he just needs to save his friend, he do only what needs to be done to achieve this goal: he grabs him and flees. I love this in Jack Kirby's characters. He doesn't write fights just for fights.

This issue is flawless for me. Dino and Moon-boy meet their first real enemy. And this enemy turns out to be bad not without a reason. Here was a super 10/10 twist, this story is awesome.

This issue starts with an ultra psychedelic dream of Moon-boy and then follows an alien robots invasion. I don't know how Jack could write 4 issues of this series and still make it interesting. All issues are different. I just dream about movie based on this series. But even if Kevin Feige will decide to make it, it will be based on Moon-Girl series, I assure you. Huh, well. Back to this issue: 17 pages were not enough to defeat aliens. And it makes this threat more dangerous and big, than others.

This aliens arc is still isn't over, but now there are giant ants! Epic. And Kirby's art is 100/10 when he draws spaceships and other 2-pages stuff like that.

And battle with sky demons is still isn't over! That's a really big story arc for this small series. But new characters are still appear here. For example, Eev. And it's the only one woman... Kinda stupid, Jack, no offence. Also there were more solo Moon-Boy and less Devil Dino at all. Not the best issue of this series, but still not bad at all. P.S. I didn't know, that Marvel had balls in those years. There was a rape attempt. And who knows if it was successful behind the scenes or not... The answer seems to be "yes".

I think it was something like Eden reference. And the dilemma of that issue: to live under the dome in peace with food or to live with risk but to be free. They chose... Well, it doesn't seem to be the choice. Rather coincidence. But it's okay with me. What is not okay with me - that woman, Eev, she is fine now to be with that Stone-Hand guy. And why? He literally raped her. I believe he did it. Women couldn't work in that way even in that reality. She was free, she was fine alone, she wasn't weak. And what now? And well, alien arc is over! Finally, after 4 issues.

Nice idea for a new threat. And Moon-Boy finally found his folk! And even made them to be brave enough to fight. Very inspiring issue.

In this last issue of the series Dino appears in the Earth-616 for the first time! No superheroes, only army and other citizens. It was cool. That Witch is a nice character too, but there was not enough time to really understand her. However, this is very solid conclusion for that story! I love this series with all flaws. Sadly, that it was that short... But Devil Dino wasn't forgotten by Marvel.

It's almost perfect. My 100% favourite of all Jack Kirby's works. It's a unique character with a small potential, but he made many interesting stories about him here.

Surprisingly very good for the Ultimate universe. I really love these simple love stories about people, especially with a bit of a superheroic charm. It's funny and enjoyable. Also, the early Larocca's style seems interesting for me too. It's fitting here.

I don't know how it works... There's nothing outstanding, but it works, it really works. Somehow it really does make me feel strong emotions... It teases your thirst for justice and etc. Also I see now where's the inspiration for the Daredevil's Netflix series costume come from... Really enjoy this book for now and the fact that it's the Ultimate universe make me appreciate it even more.

It's just awesome! This TPB also had Daredevil #9, but I don't care about it, because it's a bonus. Ultimate D&E is a great comic and it's one of the best things Ultimate universe has.

The dialogues were just awesome... As well as the action here.

I simply love this limited series. Yeah, the storytelling is super complicated and non-linear, but if you understand it, then you can enjoy good mature story with a couple of nice twists and spectacular art.

Charlie Adlard is a good artist, but I liked previous one more... The story is still awesome

One of the best issues so far for me.

I really don't like the idea how easily Michonne, Glenn and Maggie found Rick and Carl... Just luck? A coincidence? Or maybe the writer became a little bit lazy? I don't care that Rick somehow found Lori and Carl in the beginning of the story, but this exact "reunion" makes me kinda angry. However, the issue is still good. Not much of the events, but it's nice reading as always.

Unbelievable how far the man can go to protect his family. Rick gones mad episode is much more cool and justified than in the TV show... Great work, Mr Kirkman!

New interesting character. New potential danger. And two more deaths. Really an iconic issue. I like Lizzy and her story in the show more, than the twins from comics, but it's done really well here too. It was unexpected and fast, however still cool.

Actually, there's only three scenes: Rick talks with Carl, Eugene reveals his lies and Rick&Abraham meet some new guy. But it's enough to make a good part of the story.

Rick crossed the line... Again, but this time he actually lost the connection to the reality. I also don't know how to look at this back-up story. It's weird and kinda funny, but really unfinished and pointless.

Negan finally... That was awesome...

That's a nice (but short) origin, that (FINALLY) flows smoothly to the reprint of TWD #19. I think this special is nice. The ones for Tyreese and The Governor were really bad and pointless.

There is only a few pages of new content, but these pages give almost no really useful information or reveal something important...

I just can't understand the idea of these specials...

It was a wise decision to hire an inker and let Adlard be only a penciler. The art became much better and I like it! I wanted to rate this issue 9-9.5, but then just hit 10, because the new story arc is very promising and this art is a bomb!

Oh, man, that's so cool, but it reads SOOOOOOOOOOOO fast... I want more. I NEED more. And thankfully I can get more right now and I don't have to wait a month or so for another issue to come out.

"We are not monsters" I love Negan more with every issue. TV show just took almost all situations, that unfold Negan from not-100%-villain side. I really proud of Kirkman, that he was the guy, who came up with all these ideas.

I don't like this "rectangle-clouds" style of narration... It's really confusing. I can't even remember it in the tWD before. It doesn't seem to fit this series. But the issue itself is nice. Poor tiger... And what's with Maggie's face, for god's sake? It's terrifying...

I don't like this female governor and all this history repeating, but maybe it will be something new... Of course, Michonne and her daughter reunion is a cool thing.

Not perfect, but emotional

Well, it is a good crossover. However, this issue kinda retcons the conclusion of the Army of Darkness #13. But it is still a good addition to the Marvel Zombies series. We see here not only the very-very beginning, but also the world before that disease. I love this artist less, than Sean Phillips, but his zombies are still horrific and that's what I really need. Maybe they are even more horrific. Script is alright too, but what I don't understand - in Marvel Zombies: Dead Days Magneto told, that he caused that mess. Maybe I didn't quite understand him.

This comic reveals much about the zombieverse. We see here the beginning described much better and detailed! And the cliffhanger is awesome.

Well, here is an explanation of how zombies ate all billions of people around the world in three days. It really was the Quicksilver, as I supposed. And Doom is awesome here. However, it kinda disappointed me, that Necronomicon is really exists in that universe, but it did nothing to cause the zombie attack.

Okay, that was cool. However, the ending is very... Open? I mean, that was fun, but I need... don't know... some more? But it was a good series. Sometimes too hilarious, sometimes too weird (wtf, what toilet paper? That was bad...), but it is a very good addition to Marvel Zombies. It reveals so many details about the story...

Naked women, dinosaurs, violence, nazis, Frank Cho... I really don't know what NOT to like about this comic... I'm a big fan of Cho, I would say. Really love his style and if sometimes his soft porn sexualization of women doesn't fit the story, then for Shanna it's actually what the story needs! And oh my, I didn't expect this comic to be that violent. Feels more "Max", than some real Marvel MAX titles... Yeah, no f-bombs and nipples here (feels incomplete a bit, if you know what I mean), but it really is still pretty violent and sexy. I'm also a big fan of dinosaur aesthetics, so... If this comic gets any worse - I'd be devastated. Cho can't let me down... P.S. I made some additional research and it looks like the series was announced as Marvel Max title at first... If it wasn't some fake info, lol. Well, it explains everything.

My, thinking about that, she's really just a 1 month old child. This quickly got too perve... Nah, nevermind! It's also funny how the comic is mostly about Shanna hitting guys staring at her or trying to take advantage of her. And a cover was a fake spoiler... But still, it's a lightweight reading and I needed such!

If you love women, dinosaurs and especially women killing dinosaurs - then this is a must read for you - no shit.

I can't not love it. There's nothing to not love here. A legit 10 from me.

Cho spend half of the issue silently showing dinosaurs killing and eating each other... If that's not the art, then what is? That could be easily a 4-5 issues limited series, but surprisingly I don't want it to be short! I would watch Cho drawing dinosaurs for hundreds of issues, it will never get old.

That was epic as hell... And looks like Shanna becomes more and more humane. And learns about hard decisions...

Fuck it, another 100% deserved 10 from me. I don't care, this comic must be made for me, because this is one of the best things I've read for who knows how long... Definitely will make my top of all-time favourite comics. This is super spectacular in terms of nature and landscapes, dinosaurs, sexuality, violence. The story might be simple if you make a short retelling, but it's not dumb and bad, it has interesting info about dinosaurs, philosophic thoughts about life, death and humanity. It has some interesting twists I didn't see coming (okay, at least one in the end of this issue). And the conclusion was absolutely fantastic - just a perfect finale for the story. Seeing Shanna showing emotions and actually feeling something for someone is just a thing you don't think about after seeing her in the issue #2. I have no words, I wish there were more comics like this: simple in a good way and really entertaining! Also if you don't want this Shanna to be ruined for you - don't read the next book. That conclusion is definitely not what you might wanted after reading this comic.

Yes, maybe I'm overrating it. I don't care, this book made me so happy like no other books made for a long period of time. Pure fan-service with a funny lightweight story and brilliant artwork.

It's a great stories retold with an awesome art. Not that original or something, but it's still a nice reading. Especially for a novice in comics.

The first volume is great and the second is not on the same level, but the whole story still has many fine Peter/Miles moments and everything. But I would suggest buying only vol 1, not both of them.

Not a fan of that art. Sometimes it's very hard to understand what you see. But still it's fitting and stylish. The story is not a 10/10, but it's just the beginning, a warm up. I didn't understand the nature of Daredevil's power here. There were no chemicals or something like that. But other than that it mostly just like it was in original. Nothing really innovative. It's only a first issue, but it's already very good. The art is awesome, this pencil style is fitting for the tone of this story. Gaiman is awesome. He introduces all characters through the story and it's entertaining af... This 1602 world is so cool... It's so grounded, but there are still mutants and magicians and gods and everything else what could fit here. There's no scientific crap and etc. I really love how this world works and it's pretty balanced. It's still a Marvel story, but just a little bit less fantastic and superheroic. There was not much action, but this issue is almost overflown by different events and characters. And I can't say, that something was bad. It's just a bit boring in some parts and there are also things, that you will understand only later. But it's not the basis of this story, so it's really enjoyable even when you read it for the first time! I remember how this book infatuated me when I read it for the first time. And I thought this story would be boring or stupid lol. No, it's almost a masterpiece and this first issue is only the beginning.

I just noticed, that there are dinosaurs literally and they are... like "okay". That's weird... And the origin of Virginia is such a bullshit... But comic is great, of course, really interesting. New twists every issue.

There's too many different events and twists. The story is faaaaaaaaaar from grounded at this point. But it's still cool and interesting and that's still not an end.

Well! It's kinda too fantastic for a 1602 story, imo... And the final Hulk appearance is just stupid. Peter was finally bitten - cool. But I still have some questions just like the characters of this story. And even if I didn't understand everything - it's still one of my favourite comic books which I just can't stop to reread every now and then. Not the best ending, but it's still awesome as a one book.

I wish I could rate it as 10. It is a comic of all comics. It's almost a masterpiece. But I just can't ignore some holes and weird decisions. It's a finished story even if there's a set-up for future books. I think Gaiman just made a great work on this one. He just kinda... Overthought it. It is really a little bit too complicated. And not every one of these complications was justified. And I won't stop saying that it's an awesome book and you definitely must read it. Just forget about the sequels and read this one book entirely. Also, it really feels much better as a physical book, not digital. Read this story in one sitting and try to give it a time, don't hurry to read it as fast as you can. Just sit, relax, take this book and read it. And I'm sure you'll be entertained for almost a 90% of the time you spend on this.

This story is very arguable. Very arguable. It has some flaws, maybe even many of them, not all decisions of the writer were good and working for me. But the art is awesome. If not for the art, I'd rate it 7.5 or 8. Actually, nice TPB-one-shot. That's a rare format for Marvel. I even bought this book years ago. Can't say I really enjoyed that, but it's a nice reading. At least for the art. And I didn't read anything else about Teresa, she seem to become very important, especially for the 5th volume of TASM. So, if you are interested in her origin - then this story is definitely on your to-read-list. P.S. I think, black suit was super unnecessary and odd here...

Really making me want to read the original Daredevil comics, but then I remember that it was Stan Lee in the early 60's...

Not a bad beginning at all. Just like in Blue and Grey we have Matt mourning his fallen love Karen and it makes him to go through his past since the very beginning. Well, I'm glad that we didn't have another Spider-Man's origin in Blue, but Daredevil doesn't have that many origin flashbacks as him, so I'm totally fine with it being in this book. This is pretty cinematographic in storytelling and visually Tim Sale's style is something that was literally meant to be in comics. Yeah, yeah, might be another reason to say something like "RIP Tim Sale", but I think it's already redundant - the guy's work will live forever and the fact that we all come back to these books after all these years just proves it. He fucking lives! I went through "Dardevil: Yellow" many years ago and hardly remember it, so why not to read it again? Very solid. Unpopular opinion, but this is even better, than Spider-Man: Blue for me. Can't really say why, though...

Awesome one-shot! It shows us how it is for Bruce to wake up who knows where after he was Hulk again. Good comic. It has some weird moments, for example, the one with... Wrecker's testicles. But it reminds me of the Hulk 2003 movie where a dog bit him in the balls and after that he... uh... revenged his testicles with his fists, if I can say so... Almost just like here. I believe it's okay for the Hulk to fight dirty. Plus Hulk used here Rulk's trick with Thor's hammer, which is pretty dumb. I mean, Thor could easily release his hammer and Hulk would do nothing. It's really weird to see him not doing that, because he must be experienced enough... But that was epic! I think this is a funny story with no connection to anything else, so you can read it anytime you want. The art of Steve Kurth is strange sometimes, especially faces and heads, I remember him being better in the Ultimate Armor Wars. However his artwork is still good here. Yeah, as a Hulk fan I really enjoyed this comic.

Another entry point for new readers, but it was good. There's still a full normal part of the story and then this additional recap story, so I'm totally fine with it. It was mostly great and I honestly even missed the old costume. Let's see what will happen to our boy next.

One of the best what ifs. I didn't think 2022 comic would be such great. Gives me back my belief in marvel comics. I just think the story itself is kinda too utopian. But the message is simple: wether watchers interfere or not - heroes will win no matter how. It's a core of the comics. Heroes lose only in some alternate realities which no one really care about. And I heard that people think it's bad, because Galactus' death would cause some universe imbalance and etc, but this is not a 616 universe. It can be a variant of that universe without such consequences. So I'm fine with that, because it's a good comic with a cool story and art. Maybe Utau's father is too hard on him, but Uatu definitely deserves that, because he broke his oath so many times, that the oath itself makes no sense then...

This special is simply great! There are 6 different stories between one main story. Every story has it's own creative team. There's a greatest duo of Loeb and Sale, Humberto Ramos (AND I EVEN LIKED HIM HERE, why did he draw better in 1995 than in 00's?), Peter David and etc etc etc, so many cool artists and writers... Some stories were simple and okay, some on the opposite were just brilliant. I only don't like how the main story ended, it was, of course, funny, but it's very weird and dumb for the continuity. There also were pin-ups at the end of the comic! I think, this comic is a must-read for every Hulk fan. It's hilarious and epic. P.S. Howard the Duck movie joke is just really something else...

Wow, that was really good. So far that's the best marvel movie adaptation I saw. The art is awesome, the pacing is fine. You can even read and like it without even watching the movie. But it's still a great addition to the source material. And it's written by the man himself - Stan Lee! In 2002! Yeah, his style is recognizable, but it reads okay. Plus he changed some moments of the movie story and added something new to make it better for the comic. However, not everything was changed for the better... For example, the final scene with Peter and MJ is much weaker. I also love how Goblin looks in this comic. His mask doesn't feel like a dumb static plastic, plus it's really scary sometimes. It doesn't look that weird as in the movie. All in all - good adaptation. I love it.

I really want to rate it as 10, but some moments were weird. For example, strong Bruce. And, well, incest. However, it is kinda reasonable. But what about Hulk not being able to heal? Is he too old? So, he isn't old enough to be strong even in human form, but being torn apart from the inside is lethal for him? Also I really don't understand why Logan didn't kill the baby and even more - took him. Yeah, that's ironic, but the revenge kinda loses its point after decisions like that. Or maybe it still makes sense. I honestly don't know, this story really makes not that much sense, it's mostly pure rage and gore. Perfect for the grand finale, but not that cool if you read only this single one-shot. So read Old Man Logan in the third (2003) volume of Wolverine.

That was as great as the Wolverine's prequel. The art is okay, not that cool, that Wolverine's, but still fine. And I thought Chuck Austen will make a piece of shit of a story here, but no, it was really really good. Definitely worth reading.

Wow... That was pretty unexpected for some movie comic tie-in. Actually, it's Vaughan, I should have expected the best from him. But there's also a really great art! It's dirty sometimes, but super cinematographic, I really love how action scenes look here. Not only them, but especially them. Also the book is finally a canon for the movie and it finally shows some real personal interaction of Wolverine and Sabertooth, that movies lacked. And it kinda explains what happened with the Tooth after the end of the first movie... Looks like Stryker somehow killed him after an unsuccessful attempt to repeat his Wolverine experiment... Either way, that was a very satisfying comic prequel, I guess you should give it a chance even if you don't remember or never saw the movie. This is still a good Wolverine comic.

This Punisher is not the same as his 616 version. And for now I like it. There wasn't so much Punisher in action, but it's still a very good beginning of a story. And wtf, that last page was epic...

This. Is. Mindblowing. Just read it! I read it before years ago, but now I still got surprised by all twists and etc. There are some boring moments, but that's not much and doesn't make the comics worse. Really recommend this series to read at least for this exact issue. And as I remember, Russian will become trans person here too. I love this character for his weirdness. He is unique. Also there were Jigsaw and Barracuda from Max universe.

It was intense and epic

For me the last issue was kind of weird, but it is still a very good conclusion. Nice story! But I hate when even small 4 issue series can't get only one artist... Here is the new one and he is worse.

Actually, that's an awesome start for the story. Not much is revealed yet, but there's enough info to start think about the reasons of what is happening. This suspense is making this story more interesting. It wouldn't be that great if it was told in the chronological order. + art is awesome. Gab is one of the best artists of modern era. Bendis here is quite nice too. You know, that this guy writes either bullshit or masterpieces. And that's pretty much more like a masterpiece to me. Yeah, for the first issue of run that was awesome. Can't imagine it being better, then it's 10. Of course, there wasn't much action, but this limited series will show you much action later. P.S. I hate politics. Diplomacy sucks. Also, this story arc was adapted and used for the first missions of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. So, if you didn't know that - then you know now. Time to replay the game, huh? And I find the cover choice is weird. There was no Spider-Man inside at all... But... There were his enemies... And Tinkerer is actually one of his first villains... Third, if count only TASM Vol 1.

The secret team roster is quite arguable. I mean, Fury knows better who he does trust, but if you know, that he brainwashed them after the operation, then it definitely makes no sense. And why did he made them new costumes, if they were still recognizable, especially Spider-Man... And most of the heroes didn't even have masks... But that's a problem of the last issue, if I remember correct. We didn't see these costumes at that point. The other problem of these costumes is gonna be that we didn't have much time to see them and they were mostly in flashbacks and these flashbacks were in black and white. Why did Gab draw concept arts of new costumes in colors then... And Logan was embarrassing here... Also, here was the first appearance of Quake. Who knew that she will become this important for the Marvel universe and not just another one-story-character. But somehow even Lucia Von Bardas appeared a few times later... Also if Gab duplicated some faces and other things in the previous issue, then here he did it so many more times... I understand, that his work on full comic takes a great amount of time and that the schedule of this series was super slow too. But it just feels kinda lazy and you really notice all these reused faces on the same page. Not that it makes this comic worse, just saying. So, this issue reveals almost nothing. Main story goes nowhere and we only met Nick Fury's secret team.

Oh, yeah. It is here where we get a first look at these new costumes... Then all what I said about this is the problem of this exact issue. Hm... Or is that a problem of the whole series? Can't decide yet. But what's the real problem is that on the cover we see concept art of the new Wolvie's suit. With the mask. And that version of the costume was rejected. He had no mask in the comic... Nah, I'm just trying to be super picky, because that's a good comic and when something is too good to be real, you are trying to find flaws and make it not that good. And ha-ha, Gab used the same face of Jessica from the first issue (where he already used it twice). Yeah, that was an awesome face, I wouldn't be angry to see him use it even for the hundred times. Actually, was a nice issue. Daredevil/Spidey team-up is always great. Plus story finally continues. And we know that the big mess is coming...

Action. Finally. Questions? Still unanswered.

Too. Many. Copypasted. Images. Too many. And I can understand it for flashbacks (and there were oh so many flashbacks), but seeing the same two faces of Daisy over and over again isn't the thing you want from this comic. Well, we got all the answers we need, but still I think it wasn't the best conclusion. I didn't appreciate some of the writer's decisions. And the mess was ended too fast. But it's still a good comic and definitely worth your time to read it.

What to say here... Not the best comic in the world, but still nice and important limited series. Art is awesome, but you should be ready to see some over and over copypasted images. Gab made a great work here, but time is time, so it could be understandable. Story is good too, but you might don't like the conclusion and that it wasn't told in the chronological order. As a one TPB it reads very well. This comic won't take much of your time, but it really worth it.

That makes more sense for the Panther arc in Ultimates 3, but it still doesn't makes that awful comic better.

Actually I really love how Aaron builds his stories. Like, the first page is already action. And it's a cliffhanger. After that he starts to tell us the story, that leads to that beginning. So, he interests reader first and only then he starts to build up the story. And what, for example, did Hickman in Ultimate Hawkeye? He started with some weird build-ups, backstories, boring and not personal action scenes... That's two ways to write stories and I like Aaron's more. Much more. Of course, it's very typical to make another super soldier serum powered guy. The same serum as Cap's. And he kicks Cap's butt the whole issue. And I'm not kidding... Cap couldn't even hit him once. And it would dissapoint me if Ultimate Cap wasn't such a dick. But! And that's a big but! This enemy wasn't created for the Ultimate universe. It's a Nuke from the Earth-616. He fought Daredevil and Cap. So, it's cool that Aaron didn't create some lame new villain or messed-up some iconic villain. I don't think Nuke really have that many fans. So he has super soldier serum here instead of cybernetic enhancements and so what? He's still cool here and his design wasn't changed. The art is fine too. It's not really outstanding, but I like it more, than Sandoval's one. His art was too digitalized and Garney's just what I like - these pencil lines and everything makes it just right.

Okay! Nuke had not the same serum and he actually still was cybernetically enhanced! Well, I simply love this series so far... Surprisingly very interesting and cool. I didn't think Captain America comic could be that interesting especially in the Ultimate universe... This exact comic was worth all that shit I read during my Ultimate Marvel marathon...

That. Was. Just. AWESOME! Man, I love Aaron. The issue is full of Nuke torturing Cap and he really deserved it. "I'm the greatest hero who ever lived"... Freaking douche. You wouldn't live, if Peter wasn't there to take your bullet and die... And the way Cap was tortured... It's especially cool now, when everyone bans Russia everywhere. How about to talk about the past of America and why it was the greatest in the eyes of pretty much everyone. I think every country's rulers can make some bad decisions and it's cool that Aaron can use it against his hero, because it really evokes some strong emotions. At least it did for me. It's fine that America isn't all that white and good here. Also the conclusion is a great cliffhanger - that's how you must bait readers to not drop the series. P.S. that Justin Bieber line made it a perfect 10 for me. Aaron always has some place for a dumb hilarious scene or something like that. The issue keeps you in suspense almost all of the time and then this lame Bieber line like a light in the end of the tunnel. Such a fine relief.

Ha-ha, Aaron just loves epic battles using hammers... Well... This snake twist was kinda lame, but the final dialogue between Cap and Clint made it better. I like when the writer doesn't think that all their decisions will be accepted by the reader just because they made them. Yeah, cool issue. Might be better, but cool. Also this exact issue is a bit too edgy in comparison with the previous, but the amount of gore was just right.

One of the best things I read in a couple of months... I'm really surprised it is the Ultimate universe book. It was really cool. Maybe Aaron is my type of writer. This comic really feels like PunisherMAX sometimes. The art is great too. It gets better to the last issue. Also this book has a very little connection to the other ultimate books, so you can read it just like that and you'll understand pretty much everything. Aaron and Garney made an outstanding work here. Thank you, guys.

WOW! It's like the most entertaining and unusual thing I read in my life (maybe)! It's like these books of R. Stine where you can make choices and it tells you what page to read next and get your own version of the story... Of course this format has some disadvantages, just like in Telltale games - a real logic and solid character development is really hard to achieve. Basically, some of your choices don't change the story, only emotional impact on you. And sometimes the story can't be really deep and focused. That's the case here - this story is such a basic thing. It exists almost just to exist. However, the comic really works even without an intriguing story. It's simply fun to read (however "play" is a better word). Also, the art is spectacular and the writing of Ewing is simply fine to read. Plus most moments here are amusing as hell! Like... Check this bad ending if you press the red button - it's the best twist in comic books. Imagine a face of a guy who really sliced his comic and then got this ending. It's awesome! And by the way, my badness and sadness scores make me to skip the second issue for now. This comic is outstanding - so many interesting ideas in one book...

Well, there are 4 separate stories and you need to complete only one. It's kinda worse, than the 3rd issue where there were 5 different paths and you could take every single one of them. Those stories were not that different and interesting, but here we can participate even in Hulk's and F4's origins. Yeah, I played the Hulk part and the comic ended way too fast for me. Also if you lose the fight - there will be game over for you. And that's really weird, because 3 other stories just give you a chance to choose a different path. So, the contents of this issue may be better, than the 3rd, but as a part of an actual adventure it won't really give you much of anything.

Cool issue. It had many cool easter eggs. In this one we need to collect *gems (it reminds me of old Marvel Questprobe games...) in the swamp. Still good, however, some of the paths were kinda too weird even for me. And yeah, I actually choose the one path to take, but still watch for all other options just for the sake of my curiosity.

Not bad, actually. There was even a moment to think. However I still think that having only 3 slots in the inventory is kinda meh. I almost constantly choose pointless items. And in one place here even if I didn't drop my pistol back then - I would only make things harder for me here...

The conclusion is rather underwhelming, but it was still fun to play. Can't say I would enjoyed it this much if I didn't cheat, but I still highly recommend you to read it. This is an experience to remember...

This comic is something you'll definitely remember and recommend your geek friends. It has some weak spots: the story itself is weak and simply functional, some moments are too weird even for Deadpool, also it's really hard to beat without cheating (as you can say that about "loading saves"). By the way, the inventory is small and it might be only few times when you guess correctly which items you should take. And these sadness and badness stats are 100% pointless. The only thing you need them for is the reading order of issues. Which is obviously almost has no sense, it only gives you an option to use items you couldn't get in normal order. However, even with these disadvantages it's still a nice adventure to take, especially with this amount of "mini-games" and other stuff. I believe you won't see anything like that in comic books anymore.

This event isn't the best, but it's at least nice and even interesting. Some of the sub-series are so-so (especially Ultimates), but still readable.

Art is brilliant. This is really something spectacular. But story for now is boring. This was mostly the retelling of Johnny's origin with some set-up to the story of this series. I really liked a couple of moments here, especially when the boy put pencils in his eyes. But this issue is far from masterpiece.

This is kinda epic Kingpin's story. Plus they show us, that Kingpin and Punisher are very similar, but so different at the same time... Interesting parallel.

That was great. Awesome origin flashback, which was skillfully integrated into the main story. This is a must-read for every Punisher fan, even though this book is not canon.

It isn't the best comic I read, but this series is really worth your time. It's perfect for you even if you didn't read Punisher before. However, there's a lot of gore. This is definitely not for everyone, but that's a great book.

I honestly liked it more, than Eve's origin. It doesn't feel rushed. Yeah, Kirkman decided Rex deserved a normal origin story too. Why not. Especially if he really killed him in #60. I don't know why I didn't skip the spoiler here, but well... Not like I care about spoilers. I think this book will get a special episode in the show too. But we'll see that. Also I want to say that this artist was kinda worse in Eve's story. I like him here.

Okay, that was pretty epic. And I really love to see how Eve and Rex were back then before Invincible and before even the romantic thing. It gives it some depth it was needed, since Eve is such an important character for Mark. When I first saw them in Invincible, I thought they pretty much were together, because they were in one team. But looks like they got together, because they had history.

Okay, that was a lot of fun and actually better, than Eve's story.

I really enjoyed it. The art of Nate Bellegarde was too dirty and creepy looking in Eve's story, but in Rex Splode I really liked him. And the story was cool in both series, but I honestly liked the second one better.

Well, surprisingly a good comic! After the Immortal Hulk I didn't wait anything from a short series like that, but it seems like a great thing. There were two stories that take place somewhere before the Talbot's death. The only bad thing about this comic is the first 5 or so pages with soooo many unnecessary recaps told in a way comics of 60's did it. And some Hulk faces in both stories were weird. But other that that it was really enjoyable. The first story was about Bruce trying to cure himself once again. However it resulted him being in a condition when neither him, nor Hulk could take the possession of their body. They fought in the Bruce's mindscape (by the way, Bruce was such a chad here!) and their physical body changed in a way of the one who was stronger at the moment. Add to this Joe Bennett's body-horror and you would get the Immortal Hulk in a nutshell. Yeah, the story feel pointless a bit, but it was fine to watch. I always enjoy such mind battles of Bruce's personalities. The second story was simple as day - Hulk vs bullying and that's it. Very short and not really deep story, but good enough to leave a pleasant aftertaste. Overall a great issue, with some bad things from old comics, but cool for a time, I believe.

That's the Ravage! From the Hulk 2003 movie game. Well, I think this is a criminally underrated character, who appeared only in this exact limited series. I mean, in Earth-616. He also FOR SOME REASON was in one of the Spectacular Spider-Man Adventures UK magazine issues. And in the game, of course. And in one of the LEGO games too. But that's really it... And I think this character might have a well-deserved place in the gallery of the greatest Hulk enemies. The game version is similar, but there was no backstory to his relationship with Bruce, which is a shame and applies to every villain of that game, even the Leader appeared out of nowhere... However, the "power draining" machine from the game looks better, than some sorta teleporting device, that could teleport Bruce without his gamma or copy his genetic structure and apply it to Crawford... It's really too complicated for such a purpose, but okay, why not. Also I didn't like how fast they came from meet and greet to fight to death as two hulking beasts. This really shouldn't be THAT quick and it needed some proper and well-paced character development, more conversations over a cup of tea (Raimi's Spider-Man 2 like). The idea of the Ravage is cool, at least. I mean, yeah, his appearance isn't really interesting, he's just a swamp-green coloured Hulk with a beard. But as a personality he has some cool traits. He needed Hulk's healing powers to stand from his wheelchair, but when he got the actual power - it was WAAAY more, than he expected. It made his worst qualities emerge and he really had a good reason to stop being good to Banner. So, we have a man who once was Bruce's mentor, who could heal him, but instead used his power to heal himself and decided to try these new powers on the Bruce himself, because he tried to stop him from healing and wanted to keep all his powers to himself. I dunno, that's really good for such a limited series no one would even be interested in now if not for the 2003 game. As a gamma monster he's also not Abomination or Hulk as well, he's clever, he's a strategist and he has some fighting style (which was especially great in the game). I wonder why Hulk really doesn't have many enemies like that and most of them are one story arc only... It's not like the Abomination is much better to be used over and over again. So for me it's always great to see a new Hulk's villain in action. I hope one day the Ravage will get more attention (like Madman, for example), especially with the fact, that all gamma people are now practically immortal...

Wow, this is good! Much better, than I expected. We saw Bruce and Crawford talking even after their battle as monsters, the Ravage character gets even more interesting. Yeah, he was defeated too quickly and easy, but I believe it's far from the end. Also Hulk/Ross relationship was cool here. For a single issue there were too many events, which is fine, especially after super slow Immortal Hulk. Yet some parts are too naive and simple, which was a common thing for an old comics, which this comic tries to match (the Hulk mini-pic on the cover is from the 60's, plus the events take place back then, definitely after the Harpy appeared and before Talbot died). But it's still great to read and I just saw, that the Fly movie was officially the inspiration for this story. However, this teleportation thing idea isn't that cool here as in the movie, but still, it doesn't make this story worse. UPD: Okay, I just checked Marvel wiki, this IS the end for Ravage... I think he still had a room for improvement and development in future stories... I'll bless the day, when Marvel remember him, he really deserved more.

This is surprisingly a very strong story. This series just can't stop being great.

This is incredible! I thought this series would be a typical not important B-category limited series, but it was actually really great! The development of Hulk/Banner relationship felt really important, the new Ravage villain was great and had an enormous potential, all stories were cool and hearth-warming. Only the F4 story was just Hulk vs F4, but still not a bad one, I love Hulk comics for the fact that Bruce is always on the run, he meet new people in new places, it's interesting and I didn't see that in any other major Marvel character solo series. And in this issue we even had freaking PUMA long before he even met Spider-Man in New York... Like, I never expected I would see Hulk sitting with the Puma's tribe and letting them to preform some rituals on him. The final Banner/Hulk conversation was sooooo great, this issue worth reading at least for that moment. I dunno, I really liked it. The Rampaging Hulk might still be an old comic and definitely not that hyped as the Immortal Hulk, but it's still a good reading for any Hulk fan, I believe. I initially came here for the Ravage, but the book was amazing all along!

Hey, great prologue! It's really priceless if you didn't read all comics before. I never read this whole World War Hulk event, only 5 main comics. There are too many sub-series for me... But this one-shot is cool. Also had quite good mini-marvels adaptation. It had nice humor. + there was a reprint of amazing fantasy vol 2 #15.

Now that's what I call the great Hulk comic. I needed to reread it after the shitty Stan's first Hulk run... Awesome Romita Jr's art, double sized comic, pure action. I feel Hulk's pain here. And his wrath. Yeah, it is a strong book indeed.

Hulk cracked Strange's hands... Man, that was epic. And Ross... He's a crazy... Too crazy here. I understand why they made him the Red Hulk year after. It's just was inevitable... Epic issue. I just hate Sentry for just sitting... He's like a girl you are trying to go on a date in high school...

What can I say... Epic. It could be even more epic if some of the heroes got a real permanent injury or died, but it's nice that way too.

There are five issues with the length of two, so it has the length of 10 issues, but it reads so fast. Really entertaining and enjoyable reading. Almost pure action, pure rage through the entire book. Very solid Hulk comic and I like to reread it every now and then. Yeah, it could be better and not all writer decisions were flawless, but I still highly recommend you to read it if you love Hulk and even if you didn't read Planet Hulk arc.
