Yeah, why not. That was a good ending. Ready for The Pulse now, which I never read before.

Wow... The level of drama and tension... I believe this story was way ahead of its time... The stakes are too high. Well deserved 10/10. And it's not even the end of the story! Everything's just great here. The way Peter cares for his aunt, the way he uses his old enemies to help him... He also demonstrates some never seen before power and it works as a pretty cool way to show how angry he was then.

Wow, it's even more, than perfect. I would give it 20/10 if I could. Really-really good comic and it doesn't really feel like it's from 1966...

I dunno, it's just got me... And I'm reading this not for the first time and not even for the second.

This is an iconic issue. But I remember that in Amazing Fantasy #15 Ben was shot in his own house and Peter knew it, isn't he? Hm... But it doesn't make this comic worse for me.

You know, at first I wanted to lower this rating, because of all these giant spiders and other mystic shit like that. But still... This issue made me feel very strong emotions. It was intense. I think, this issue is really epic and it's better, than much of the previous stuff. And also that's the last issue of Romita Jr on TASM and the conclusion of Ezekiel story... Yeah, I think I'm fine with this 10.

This issue is iconic. If you thought, that his first fight with Morlun was hard, then look at this one. Here's the pure action and this action is good, man... Peter's monologue inside his head is so full of hope, but he didn't win this fight... Man, that creep took his eye and ate it... I know, that american people of that time knew, that Spidey won't die, because Marvel already announced many other comics featuring him and etc. But in my country and in my age I couldn't just google it, so I really thought that he will die. It worked for me, so I rate it 10. This issue is unbelievably awesome. Truly amazing. Still loving it.

Wow, it's not just great, it's really really good! I already started to blame Gary for being such a hypocrite, but the twist did put everything at its place. It was awesome! And I get more and more interested in the characters and story. Also, I couldn't not notice that this idea of saving some guy to feed of him later was already used by Robert in Marvel Zombies. Do you remember that twist with Pym and T'Challa? I don't know, it worked the second time too! If you thought about reading this comic, I think you should! The Astounding Wolf-Man actually begins much quicker and more interesting, than Invincible. I doubt it'll be that good in a long run, but it's only 25 issues, maybe it will!

I think it's a well deserved ten. The issue felt really good. And when you start to think it was the best it could show you - a next scene follows and it's even better. Awesome conclusion of the story and beginning of a new DD era.

This story gets better with every issue. This one was great. I didn't see that twist coming. Plus it was nice to see how Daredevil searched for Halloran. Good comic!

This issue is flawless for me. Dino and Moon-boy meet their first real enemy. And this enemy turns out to be bad not without a reason. Here was a super 10/10 twist, this story is awesome.

This issue starts with an ultra psychedelic dream of Moon-boy and then follows an alien robots invasion. I don't know how Jack could write 4 issues of this series and still make it interesting. All issues are different. I just dream about movie based on this series. But even if Kevin Feige will decide to make it, it will be based on Moon-Girl series, I assure you. Huh, well. Back to this issue: 17 pages were not enough to defeat aliens. And it makes this threat more dangerous and big, than others.

In this last issue of the series Dino appears in the Earth-616 for the first time! No superheroes, only army and other citizens. It was cool. That Witch is a nice character too, but there was not enough time to really understand her. However, this is very solid conclusion for that story! I love this series with all flaws. Sadly, that it was that short... But Devil Dino wasn't forgotten by Marvel.

This is really good

Ever since I came back to comics I heard about this series. From soooo many people. Bloggers, critics, friends. And I am a fan of a Hulk myself. So first of all I wanted this series to at least conclude so I could start reading it. And I saw it closing with my own eyes, I saw the new issues of the next volume coming out one by one and I still couldn't find time to sit and read Immortal Hulk. And I had reasons for that... First of all, I know that sometimes a thing everyone is hyping about might be bad. Like, really bad and overrated. Sometimes someone says that something is cool and there's emerging a herd of people who love it and find more and more reasons to love it with every day, even weird and nonsensical reasons. And if you have an opposite opinion, if you not like it, then one day you might even find a shit next to your door for saying your opinion publicly. So, of course I wouldn't like to be a victim of high expectations. That's why I couldn't start it. But! It actually really IS cool! This exact issue is brilliant in every freaking way, I simply can't find a single flow even when I think hard. Even the cover is a masterpiece and it's already must be a classic. Ewing is a real Hulk fan, now I know it for sure. He really loves this character and he wanted to make something that Stan Lee maybe wanted and tried, but didn't really do. If you remember, the first issue of the Incredible Hulk was really different in comparison with 2-6. The Hulk was Grey, the tone was more horrifying and dark, everything was at night, people were really scared by the grey goliath and it was more believable, than in next issues. However, Stan really couldn't understand what to do with his character. Also 2016-2018 was simply the worst Hulk period. I mean... It was that era of killing (or disposing of in other way, the reason wasn't important) and replacing every popular white male character with his female, sexual or national minority version... And yeah, these replacements (except for Riri Williams, which is shit all over, and maybe Robbie Reyes) were reasonable and Marvel didn't make them just like that. If a character had a daughter (X-23 for Wolvie) or a female love interest (Jane Foster for Thor) or a minority sidekick (As Cho for Hulk, Falcon for Cap) then it could really be simple like that and even die hard fans couldn't say anything against that, because the character was there for so many years, how could they not replace the dead hero? Yeah, Marvel could not dispose of them in a first place, but LOL, that's not how it worked back then. However, I'm really not a fan of Amadeus Cho, even when he wasn't the Hulk. I mean, I didn't read Totally Awesome Hulk, maybe I should, but I'm really honestly not interested in reading that and it's not my fault, that period was basically the reason I quit reading comics at all. So, having Bruce Banner back is something as cool as seeing Santa alive. And it's really hard to believe such a great comic came out in 2018. In era where Marvel from a house of ideas came to a house of sitting on their old ideas and abusing them. Actually, this Immortal Hulk is as well "sitting on old ideas", but it makes it good and not like Bendis in Civil War 2. Why Civil War 2 of all the comics? Because Banner died there, I'm just staying close to the theme! Well, that's already too many words for my not-native-english-mind, so where was I? I mean, the comic is awesome! The art is really cinematographic from the first page till the final one. There are vibes of the Hulk 2003 game, Hulk 2003 movie, Hulk 2008 comic and of course the first Incredible Hulk issue. This comic could be cool even as a one-shot! The story is whole, but at the same time it still feels like a beginning of an ongoing series. This new Hulk is horrific, I love how he looks (his eyebrows sometimes make his head look like a bare skull, his musculature is awesome, especially all these pumping veins, even his mouth is creepy and mesmerizing), I love how he smiles, how he speaks. Plus the story itself is pretty emotional. This issue is so good, that you want to read the next one without any dumb twist or a cliffhanger at the end of the comic. I really hope this series will stay on this level for all 50 issues. I kinda doubt it, but I doubted this series since the very beginning, so maybe it's time when I shouldn't.

an iconic issue

That's just perfect in so many ways... The best issue of the Planet Hulk so far. Hulk defeated the Red King, unbroke the world with his bare hands and fed the spikes just so they leave people alone... And Caiera finally has feelings for him. 100% important and interesting comic.

A 10 indeed

Peter David and Dale Keown are awesome! I'm really impressed, what a brilliant story... It's cool in every possible way.

Fuck yeah, this was worth it, it's insane. Easily makes the top 10 moments of the book. If not top 5, honestly... Even though the battle wasn't that graphic, because of, well... sunlight... It was still epic as hell, Mark's speech was spot on. If not for Robot or Allen, or if Thragg had anyone to aid him... Who knows how it would end... I just didn't really think they kill Thragg so early in the story arc. There's 4 more parts still...

Wow. That was just wow. Finally an issue that wasn't interrupted by hundreds of different scenes with side characters of the Invincible lore. Finally a strong (enough) and personal enemy for Mark. Finally his heroing backfired to his family. Finally Mark let himself off and stopped being a punching bag. Add to this a couple of funny cameos (Spider-Man and doc Ock, Batman, maybe even the world of Walking Dead) and you'll easily get one of the best issues in the series. Plus Ryan's style slowly becomes better. At least in action sequences. This is really good.

Easily one of the best issues of the series. Just no single second thought about it. It was just wow. So emotional... And the best thing is that you can actually relate to both Mark and Cecil, but why? And the secret origin of Cecil back-up story makes it clear as day. Emotions come first, Cecil was just like Mark back then, but when you actually think about it, then you can understand why this approach is good. It might be amoral, but it works. And also I'm just happy that Mark and Eve finally made it. It's a great 50th issue. Very refreshing for a series, but not in a way Kirkman refreshed Wolf-Man after the first arc! Also besides that additional Cecil back-up story there was also another Science Dog back-up. You know, it wasn't really 10/10, but still nice as a bonus (the issue is way too longer, than it should be). But the only real problem I have with the Science Dog back-ups is that they are way too rare. I mean, the next one will be in issue 75. I need to read 25 more issues to get to it! It's what... 2 years in ongoing? More? I don't know, they should have been consider making a separate Science Dog series. It had potential. But it's not like Capes didn't have it, and still they got only 3 issues...

I love Allen and I love to see him finally becoming friends with Nolan and breaking free. Plus that Battle Beast is awesome. I also love seeing Mark and Eve finally having some quality time together. So this is another 10/10, no doubts about it. Just a perfect issue.

Now that's a well deserved ten. I know Eve will live somehow, but that was just wow. Especially the art. The art is just astounding here. The last splash-page with Conquest feels very Walking Dead-ish and it's just so powerful...

It's a bloodbath, but it's almost as emotional as was possible. And it really shows the potential of Mark. And of course Eve. If it wasn't just a one time only thing as it was in her limited series, then she's just basically a God level superhero now. UPD: HAHAHAHH I just noticed that on the last page monster girl covered Robot's eyes.

That's the definition of "Epic". I checked the dictionary. It literally said "Invincible 75".

Easily one of the best Jeff stories. Simple and cute, just like it must be.

To be honest, I think there could be no better timing to read it, than actually before Immortal Hulk #17... Well, I thought it was made for Hulk fans, but it feels more like for Spider-Man fans. So, who is UltimateGoblin? Is he Hulk fan or Spider-Man fan... Or is he both? I'm both, so that was awesome. The art is simple and easy-going, but not on a "marvel adventures" level. It's well-drawn, but not over-drawn. I can't describe it, this comic reads just like I need it after all these philosophical Immortal Hulk dialogues. This comic is a pure fan-service. It could be fine even as a one-shot, but it seems David builds something larger. I will certainly read next issues when they come out and I recommend you to do the same. I believe you won't like it on a level I did, I'm even surprised myself why I loved it so much, but I believe it would be still pretty enjoyable for me as a such lightweight story. P.S. there's even an interesting hommage on The Incredible Hulk #1 on the first page.

WOW. Fuck, I can't not give a 10 to that... No words, but so many emotions... The art is outstanding as well. I laughed at this and felt very warm somewhere deep in the heart. Such a great holiday story...

One of my favourite MA Avengers issues.

Awesome issue. This predicting future plot is cool + Intello is a unique character made only for this universe and this exact issue. Yeah, he isn't something really interesting, but still good, that they didn't just use Awesome Android... Art is awesome, I really enjoy it and the story isn't worse too. I didn't notice any logic gaps (surprisingly!), they even made a thing of Spidey calling Flash by his name. Well, Flash isn't a name, more like an alias, but you understood me. Very interesting issue. P.S. in russian edition they for some reason translated Thinker as Tinkerer... Wtf, it was so confusing... Now I understand that it was a completely different character.

That was just awesome... So epic and cool to read... In my childhood I reread this issue very often and I still love it, surprisingly...

And yeah! That's where it's super cool and certainly deserves you to read it.

It must be around 8-9, but I want to give it a 10 rating, because the original Amazing Spider-Man #8 story is suck. It was really bad script. And here all my problems with that issue were resolved! Even the second mini-story wasn't that bad. No web-bats, no stupid Parker, that comes to Torch's home and fights him, no aggression to the FF (and especially The Thing). It much more reasonable and nicely done. Plus, this story even kinda connected with the first one and doesn't seem excess. The first story is cooler too. The Living Brain redesign is great, I love it. + he was made by Roxxon, so it doesn't seem weird, that it actually can fight and damage somebody. I also love, that there was no false cliffhanger and robot really gave an answer to the Spider-Man identity question. Also there was no Peter and Flash boxing, just normal boy-fight. And I like how Spidey defeated The Living Brain, it much more inventive, than it was in the original story. Well, that's what was the point of this series.

This issue is awesome. This big story (16 pages!!!) is the straight continuation of the previous issue and the conclusion of it. Yeah, just awesome. That's what I want from this magazine. Not just small stupid and boring stories with awful art.

One of the best Spider-Man comics I read. He stucked in the stalemate and could be easily killed, but Black Cat saved the day. Very dramatic. And the conclusion is cool too. Poor Adrian and Max... And Jonah is about to recognize Peter on the photos. But I already know, that he won't.

Well, I can understand this amount of hate around this series. But I still don't see enough green reviews that this series deserves. Do you think, that there's no beginning? That's because it is not the beginning. For the beginning read Marvel Zombies: Dead Days one shot and then Ultimate Fantastic Four 21-23. I think, they could made dead days part of this series, but UFF story arc still would be missed and it would be stupid to replicate that story. Do you think the art is bad? It is horrific! Some faces actually could really scare you, if you were younger. In my opinion, it is very fitting. I enjoy every page of this art. And how can you say, that this writing is bad? Kirkman's dialogues are awesome. I simply love this series, I really enjoy all these characters talking and kinda figuring out what they became. Yeah, there's not much "story" in this issue, but it is the end for the Magneto of that universe and that end was shown ultimately cool. You don't like stories about zombies? Well, then most likely you won't love it. But if you even love Kirkman's The Walking Dead you still may hate it, because zombies here aren't stupid. They talk, they think and there aren't much living people in this world. But it's still very entertaining series to read. Want to say: this is another universe. It's not the same heroes, that we know. So, how can you be mad about all of them being zombified? It is not canon, why does it matter? Just enjoy the comic. Don't be fooled by all red reviews. Just read it and make your own opinion. What about me, I read this series around 10+ times for all these years and it still as awesome as it was the first time. And I can't say that about all these sequels, so I am a reasonable guy and not just some zombie fanatic.

This particular issue always makes me hungry... I don't know why. Well, that was epic. They fought all their arch enemies, then they devoured the devourer of the worlds and took his place, but in a much more horrific way... I think, it is a very cool decision and it makes this series to get a sequel.

There is a much more complicated writing, than in the first volume. Just like Kirkman usually makes. And the art (especially on cosmic moments) is gorgeous. Very good beginning of a sequel. It is a perfect continuation of a previously made story.

Nuff said. Legend. Masterpiece. There's almost no comics like this one. Unique idea and spectacular art, that worth to take place in museum. If you hate it, than you never really loved comics. Yeah, there's a recap of many events of earth-616, but now we look at them from the other perspective. It's not a stupid retelling.

Um... This is simply perfect! It's hard to imagine a better conclusion for the series in the situation of this Secret Wars event. P.S. It's funny how Kamala was fine with the idea of being with Kamran, but now she uses her Ms Marvel duty as a reason to reject her best friend... Still it's very real, because that's how it often is. But that was not a super great attempt to remake a Spider-Man 2002 ending. However, it doesn't make the comic worse - nothing can. By the way, did you saw AMOGUS here? It's 2015...

I really missed 10/10s. This run... It's the most iconic Punisher book. The movie and game of 2004 are based mostly on this exact comic. In 90's Punisher had not the best time in comics... His longest second volume was closed and after that it were mostly limited series and him as a guest star. He wasn't anywhere in comics since august 1999. And now, in February of 2000 Frank is back. Welcome back, Frank! This exact issue is simply great. It's one of the best starts a comic series can have. It's focused, cinematographic, well-paced, not boring and at the same time it has sense. I may hate Ennis when he goes over the edge in the Boys, but here's the exact amount of brutality and gore this comic needs. There's even a humor of some sort. And Garth really feels Frank exactly how this character would be in real life. Not a glimpse of fear on his face, he's brutal, but not heartless, he may give a second chance or take it if you aren't using it, he may spare you of the punishment if he deems you innocent. And he has a motivation, which Ennis remembers and can't let you forgive it. You may also think of Dillon as a so-so artist, but back then in 2000 he was really cool, his "The Face" wasn't that annoying. I really love his artwork here, even more, than in PunisherMax, where it was sometimes even creepy. So for me it's one of the easiest 10/10's in my life. This comic really doesn't have ANY flaw at all. Off to an awesome start.

That was great. Awesome origin flashback, which was skillfully integrated into the main story. This is a must-read for every Punisher fan, even though this book is not canon.

Awesome. We starting to rethink Frank's origin. Plus there's an outstanding scene, showing how criminals are scared of him, even when he's nearly dead... Good!

This is super cool. I like how metaphorical this story. I only think, that Frank looks too healthy after being nearly dead... But it doesn't make it worse.

Heh, the first X-Men story was nice and even had a kind of a "to be continued", which is something new here. 8/10 The second one was also reprinted in Marvel Heroes UK #17 and I understood it only now... So it makes sense, that it was surprisingly too good for that series. Yeah, here's the Rampage quality level. John Royle is an awesome artist and I just can't stop to repeat this. And story was fine. Spidey in Doc Ock's tentacles, team-up with Daredevil... Interesting story with an interesting idea. LOL, the writer is Ferg Handley, who wrote too many stories for the Spectacular Spider-Man Adventures UK. How can it be not 10/10? And here we go, 9 + 1 is a totally deserved 10. Finally.

It's not like something super epic and important happens here, but this issue was truly flawless for me, so fuck it, it's a 10.

Actually, that's an awesome start for the story. Not much is revealed yet, but there's enough info to start think about the reasons of what is happening. This suspense is making this story more interesting. It wouldn't be that great if it was told in the chronological order. + art is awesome. Gab is one of the best artists of modern era. Bendis here is quite nice too. You know, that this guy writes either bullshit or masterpieces. And that's pretty much more like a masterpiece to me. Yeah, for the first issue of run that was awesome. Can't imagine it being better, then it's 10. Of course, there wasn't much action, but this limited series will show you much action later. P.S. I hate politics. Diplomacy sucks. Also, this story arc was adapted and used for the first missions of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. So, if you didn't know that - then you know now. Time to replay the game, huh? And I find the cover choice is weird. There was no Spider-Man inside at all... But... There were his enemies... And Tinkerer is actually one of his first villains... Third, if count only TASM Vol 1.

I can't not love it. There's nothing to not love here. A legit 10 from me.

Fuck it, another 100% deserved 10 from me. I don't care, this comic must be made for me, because this is one of the best things I've read for who knows how long... Definitely will make my top of all-time favourite comics. This is super spectacular in terms of nature and landscapes, dinosaurs, sexuality, violence. The story might be simple if you make a short retelling, but it's not dumb and bad, it has interesting info about dinosaurs, philosophic thoughts about life, death and humanity. It has some interesting twists I didn't see coming (okay, at least one in the end of this issue). And the conclusion was absolutely fantastic - just a perfect finale for the story. Seeing Shanna showing emotions and actually feeling something for someone is just a thing you don't think about after seeing her in the issue #2. I have no words, I wish there were more comics like this: simple in a good way and really entertaining! Also if you don't want this Shanna to be ruined for you - don't read the next book. That conclusion is definitely not what you might wanted after reading this comic.

It's indeed outstanding in both story and art. JMS writes this as depressing and poetic as it should be. And still there's some slight happiness in it... There were years since the last time I read this book and I think this time it feels even greater. Can't wait to read the next issues. You know, I really even forgot how it feels when you just sit and slowly read through the book, without hurrying, relishes every page. JMS did the same good work with showing the fatality in Spider-Man's encounters with Morlun. Easily one of my favourite Spider-Man stories...

This is a masterpiece. I have a problem with Esad drawing Peter's lenses like that and with MJ's face, but it can't spoil me the book - it's still great. Every Marvel fan must read it - it's just awesome.

There's nothing even to add...

I dunno what was the reason they printed THIS after everything before... This should be the one-shot... The art is interesting. Paolo is an awesome artist even when he doesn't use this painting style. But here's the real art. Yeah, I think mostly these pictures are too dark. I bought this comic years ago and that's not the problem of digital scans and other things. It's just what it is... And it can kinda devalue the advantages of this artstyle. But you know what? It's still awesome and the story is definitely 10/10. Plus even if this art isn't flawless and Morbius doesn't look like a Morbius at all - it's still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better, than Ramos. So, I'm totally okay with this "10". This comic deserves it and it deserves to be noticed among the other issues of this series.

This story has some weak logic spots too, but I still very like it. Nightmare's world is shown here in the brilliant way. Artist is awesome and story is nice too. I can forgive lame parts, beacause there are only 11 pages of story. And it doesn't weak in core like it was with the Red Skull story.

Super entertaining story with a cool core idea. And it takes 2 parts, so this is only the beginning and this beginning is awesome.

It's not that polished as the previous part, but still very solid conclusion. If you read these 2 issues one by one, than you will get 22 pages cool story about mad Reed Richards from another dimension. I really like it, they created an ultimate distopian world!

It was my first issue of this series. Me and my mom were walking and saw this and previous issues in the kiosk. She asked me which one I would prefer to buy and I chose this one. Well, I was really amazed. Good comic, cool puzzles, stickers and other... This series quickly became one of my favourite and this exact issue ideally displays all good sides of it! It's not really 10/10, but for nostalgia I'll raise the raiting. And guys, this cover is a masterpiece... That's much more a 10 for me. Very solid and strong story, many hilarious gags, awesome "classic-style" art. Yeah, I definitely love this issue more, than previous.

Awesome limited series

The best volume so far. It's so emotional, I really cried around 3 times through this story. Awesome conclusion to their story arc. This book needs a movie. It would be an oscar, I swear you.

I don't know what about these low rates. This conclusion is perfect. Such a good flashback story. It's much better, than most of this series. And there's no Daily Bugle back-up stories.

One of the greatest Spider-Man comics I read in my life. I really like such issues like the spectacular spider-man (2003) #14 where the main character of the story isn't a Spider-Man, but a random kid or guy or something like that. It's really inspiring and satisfying. Plus the art of Crain is 10/10 again. Yeah, the idea of such stories isn't fresh, but why should I care about it? It works! And it was cool to see more aftermaths of Parker's coming out.

Negan finally... That was awesome...

It was a wise decision to hire an inker and let Adlard be only a penciler. The art became much better and I like it! I wanted to rate this issue 9-9.5, but then just hit 10, because the new story arc is very promising and this art is a bomb!

Oh, man, that's so cool, but it reads SOOOOOOOOOOOO fast... I want more. I NEED more. And thankfully I can get more right now and I don't have to wait a month or so for another issue to come out.

"We are not monsters" I love Negan more with every issue. TV show just took almost all situations, that unfold Negan from not-100%-villain side. I really proud of Kirkman, that he was the guy, who came up with all these ideas.

WHOA THE WHOLE ISSUE OF NEGAN. That's awesome. I think, he killed her too soon. I liked that they had sex in the show, but well, comic version of events is still cool. I LOVE NEGAN. That's the one of the best issues of the series! Even blah-blah don't let you get bored!

Unbelievable how far the man can go to protect his family. Rick gones mad episode is much more cool and justified than in the TV show... Great work, Mr Kirkman!

New interesting character. New potential danger. And two more deaths. Really an iconic issue. I like Lizzy and her story in the show more, than the twins from comics, but it's done really well here too. It was unexpected and fast, however still cool.

That. Was. Just. AWESOME! Man, I love Aaron. The issue is full of Nuke torturing Cap and he really deserved it. "I'm the greatest hero who ever lived"... Freaking douche. You wouldn't live, if Peter wasn't there to take your bullet and die... And the way Cap was tortured... It's especially cool now, when everyone bans Russia everywhere. How about to talk about the past of America and why it was the greatest in the eyes of pretty much everyone. I think every country's rulers can make some bad decisions and it's cool that Aaron can use it against his hero, because it really evokes some strong emotions. At least it did for me. It's fine that America isn't all that white and good here. Also the conclusion is a great cliffhanger - that's how you must bait readers to not drop the series. P.S. that Justin Bieber line made it a perfect 10 for me. Aaron always has some place for a dumb hilarious scene or something like that. The issue keeps you in suspense almost all of the time and then this lame Bieber line like a light in the end of the tunnel. Such a fine relief.

Well, I like it, surprisingly, I really do... It's cool and fresh, but still symbolic and very associative with the origin of first Spider-Man.

A masterpiece. Very tragic and emotional story. Yeah, all these edgy comics are full of one-shots, when powerful characters are killed like nothing, but it's still far from Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. Still freaking far...

It's just brilliant. Everything here is awesome. Logan used everything except his claws in the battle with Skull. Then he was so hurry to come home and give money to his family, but... And that's the moment where nothing makes sense anymore: your ideals, your problems, your pain - the life is most certainly over (in a way he so desperately wanted to live it). And there is only one option left... I waited for this since the part one and Millar even gave that relief to us, but it was only in Logan's mind. But now... things got serious. Freaking masterpiece.

Now that's what I call the great Hulk comic. I needed to reread it after the shitty Stan's first Hulk run... Awesome Romita Jr's art, double sized comic, pure action. I feel Hulk's pain here. And his wrath. Yeah, it is a strong book indeed.

A solid finale

Actually the first really good issue. Only two scenes and all about relationship thing, but it's entertaining and funny. Plus this Doc Ock/Spidey/Johnny scene was so sudden and pointless, that I really liked it. Because... you know... When you read Spider-Man comics, you definitely doesn't think that somewhere near the action two other heroes could be on a date. It makes you think how weird and intertwined marvel world is.

Hey, it was touching and funny and even interesting. I don't like the idea that she encountered Scorpion and threw up on Thor's boots, but so what.

And that's the beginning of the best arc of this series

The last arc was the best. Overall this series is arguable. It had a boring start, but it got better with every arc. So, I would still recommend you to read it.

Very touchy and innovative issue for that time...

Almost flawless issue. This is the first really good spider-man story (if not count his origin). The one big story with a good script instead of two half-sized + new greatest and iconic spider-man villain. They even showed his origin here! Also this story is interesting, because Spidey even was defeated, but with the help of Human Torch cameo, he finally succeed! It is a masterpiece.

I really loved Morlun here. One of the most intense Spider-Man arcs.

That's the first really solid ASM issue of this pre-JMS period.

Huh, I'm finally here... On the story arc, that most people feel to be the worst in Spider-Man history... Never read that before, but for now it's cool. Very interesting and entertaining. Plus Mike Deodato is a worthy replacement for the Romita JR. His art is so cool... You know, I already know that they retconned Gwen to be whore, but... For now I don't feel this idea that bad. She had a period of time, when she wasn't in the city. She is a person and people aren't flawless, they can make mistakes. And all this story just gave Norman more reasons to kill Gwen. Plus, it could make all old fans and Peter to hate Gwen and finally accept Mary Jane as the only one appropriate woman for Peter... Yeah, it's still hurt and people chose to hate Marvel instead of Gwen, but this twist could make you feel emotions. Even bad, but strong emotions. I dunno what I will say about the issue with that twist, but for now I'm fine with that, especially when they retconned it in the 2021 ASM run.

Even funnier, than before. Plus there's a super old superwoman here... They forgot about her many years before. And I mean many!

This is a lot of fun and pretty action packed. Brit and the supporting cast got some development, which is cool, plus the artwork of Tony was outstanding, especially everything with that snow giant. That hit in his eyeball was remarkably awesome. There was one weird scene with that Brit's ex-wife and it felt... odd. Nothing was told about it at all, it just was. Maybe there'll be more info in the next issues, but still, this book would be better of without it. All in all it's a nice read and I really recommend it.

Wow, I didn't expect it to be this cool, honestly.

Wow, you know, it's obvious that comics about a lawyer would have at least some stories with court and crime cases. But you never expect it to be this intense. Well, it wasn't a very happy end, but it still was satisfying. +0.5 for Dodsons when they actually could draw.

This story gets better for me and art gets more bearable too. It was cool.

Really making me want to read the original Daredevil comics, but then I remember that it was Stan Lee in the early 60's...

Epic issue. Giant spider, killer-folk... And Dino shows pretty much good amount of intelligence. He's clever and a good strategist. He don't fight with every creature he sees. If he is outnumbered by enemies and can prepare for the battle, he finds a weapon. If he just needs to save his friend, he do only what needs to be done to achieve this goal: he grabs him and flees. I love this in Jack Kirby's characters. He doesn't write fights just for fights.

This aliens arc is still isn't over, but now there are giant ants! Epic. And Kirby's art is 100/10 when he draws spaceships and other 2-pages stuff like that.

Nice idea for a new threat. And Moon-Boy finally found his folk! And even made them to be brave enough to fight. Very inspiring issue.

It's almost perfect. My 100% favourite of all Jack Kirby's works. It's a unique character with a small potential, but he made many interesting stories about him here.

Wow, I thought this double-sized story will be boring, but no! Surprisingly very interesting and solid story! It's better, than most of the issues of this series. This story isn't connected with the main series directly, so you can read it from any point after 11th issue or better after the 14th one. And the art is awesome as well! I don't know how Jack could make such a great big comic between his ongoing Eternals series...

Oh how I love this comic! Still my favourite part of this! The art is outstanding and I really love when Rhino is like this - super angry to the point when it gets actually scary. He's often shown as some dumb doofus and even looks funny, but not this time. Finch made an absolutely outstanding job here, Goblin was fine too. My thoughts about the story are a bit complicated, on the other hand... I mean, yeah, Spidey is a jerk here, but he didn't think clear, he's at a very hard moment for him and his spider-sense for some reason triggered him, so he couldn't think like "well, maybe Rhino just here for the same purpose?". By the way, for some reason Rhnio's mother name on the grave is Systevich... David, David... Either way, I also really loved the comparison with Hulk (even though I can't remember the original story, but maybe I just never saw it and it actually exists) and the small detail that you can see Wolverine on a few frames from the very beginning. That's something standard literature can't do - that's a comic privilege. Man, I love comics... Spidey's thoughts and the convo with Logan were pretty solid as well. I don't know, I can't understand the hate this issue gets. Spidey was always flawed, from the very beginning (and even this comic notices this), from his actual first appearance. It's not even the first time he does something before thinking about what and why he does. So I think it was made intentionally to prove a point. And well, it's not like Rhino is some saint. I'm fine with the fact that he was used to blow off some steam, even if I kinda feel for him. Yet he didn't care about other graves and destroyed some of them himself.

Close to a perfect comic. It may feel a bit weird (like why the hell there were Ultimate Sue and Reed), but for the most part the comic itself is really good and cute. What a better way to celebrate the wedding anniversary of the best couple in Marvel Comics? Uh, this makes me feel sad about Peter and MJ, you know...

Well, I want to say, that in Russia this story arc was in one series and was published for 6 months. I hate the original idea of splitting it into 3 different series. It makes a lot of mess, I thing, but still gives a possibility to print this story faster. BUT! (And that's a very big but). There are different writers AND ESPECIALLY ARTISTS behind this series. It makes it... Well... It just doesn't feel like a one solid story. More like a jigsaw puzzle, but these parts of the puzzle are made from different material and etc. I hope you understood me, it's very hard to write thoughts like that... Also this story arc closed Marvel Knights Spider-Man vol 1 series and opened this one - Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man. I never read it, so can't say much about it except The Other issues. But I can definitely say something about this exact issue. Well, first, the drawer is awesome. I love Mike Wieringo. He died not much later after this series and this is a colossal loss for the whole comic industry. He certainly is IN my top list. And that's so stupid, that 4 issues of this arc had Pat Lee as a writer... I mean... In comparison Lee's drawings looks even worse... That's a shame... Awesome Mike Wieringo, brilliant Mike Deodato (well, never noticed that they are both Mikes) and that Pat Lee... But it's not about this issue. Here is the flawless art. What about story... Well, it's just a beginning. The Other has 12 issues... They had no reason to rush it. Sometimes I was really pissed about it, because they really should make this arc shorter and cut some events out. But it is a nice issue. We find out, that Morlun is alive and well and he's back to kill Spidey. And also we find out, that his health problems in the latest ASM issues were really bad. And here's the new villain - Tracer. It's so dumb, that he was created only for this story arc. I think, he had a lot of potential, but they just wasted the character and didn't explain much about him... But again, this is not about this issue. Peter David done a decent work. It was a solid beginning for The Other story arc and for the new Spider-Man parallel series!

This is very epic!

I'm here after the show. I really liked the TV series and it was very interesting to see his origin in comics. And I was so surprised, when I understood that it's almost 100% the same as in the show. Yeah, they made it kinda better and more detailed in show, but still, that's the first time I see when TV show or movie does this... With this in mind I can say that it's one of the best origins for a character... I couldn't even imagine this background for a character like Hit-Monkey and I thought they made it different for the show. It's just wow, really. That's so bad, that he has almost no solo comics at all...

This was a very solid aftermath issue. I can disagree with some decisions and think that they are too radical, but at the same time I see the great comic with an awesome storytelling... I think it deserves more love.

That's a very strong issue and I think this scene was in the Incredible Hulk 2008 movie.

Wow, that was finally a very intense and interesting issue! I wish evey issue of this series was like that in terms of storytelling and pacing. It's a bit weird (maybe TOO weird), but I still pretty amazed by that and can't stop reading.

At first I was really insulted by this comic. How Thing punched the crying Hulk... I mean, I felt so freaking sorry for him, it's literally like beating up a kid. But then Joe appeared and said exactly what I thought, so the Ewing really made me feel what he wanted me to feel, isn't it awesome? That's so cool, when the author really knows how to manipulate the emotions of the reader in a way they need it. The Joe and Ben conversation was cool as well. However, it wasn't enough for me to give it a 10, I'm a mean bitch, but still, an outstanding issue.

The Sterns' ancestors part was too weird and not necessary, but overall this issue is an outstanding conclusion for the series. 4 issues in 1, that's a lot, yeah, but it reads okay, it wasn't boring at any moment. What to say here... The run could be better. It's not a 10/10 masterpiece, it has weaker parts and stronger ones, I really think some people overrated it. But yeah, this comic is great for Hulk fans and as it seems even for some who wasn't interested in the character before. And I already see, that next run can't be as good as this... Sometimes the run had troubles with the pace, some parts were too quick, some too slow, some events were almost pointless and some could get more attention. Bruce didn't end the "world" as he wanted and everything stopped at Roxxon, okay. Some supporting cast characters had a great growth in this series and some were... well... not that interesting or important at all. I loved the parts with Joe, with Bruce, with Devil Hulk. The body horror elements were weird, but nice to watch. The gallery of old Hulk enemies was impressive, new villains wasn't that good, but it's fine there were some, at least. I kinda hate what the book did with Rick Jones, Walter/Samson and Betty. The Leader part could be better as well. Also some guest artists ruined the tone consistency and really made some parts worse. Ewing on the other hand made a solid work. Some ideas were repeated too much, some of them weren't really explained or good (like Red Joe Fixit), but the run still was mostly interesting to read and emotional enough, so I don't regret I spent my time on it. P.S. This review is the 3000th user review for this series! That's A LOT.

Oh my god! Romita Jr!!!! In his best years!!!!!!! An outstanding artwork, all his haters just don't have a taste at all. And the story seem to be easily the best of the run... Everything about Ross/Bruce and revenge here is so good! Even the Abomination seem to be deeper, than usually. Yet I don't think it was a good idea to make him teach writers (like why???), but the comic is still very-very good. Especially with the fact that Professor wasn't Bruce.

Okay, now that was a really enjoyable ride!

Looks like Kirkman decided to speed things up a bit already. Okay, why not. But now I need to read that Invincible Universe spin-off. God, I just came back to Invincible... I hope it's good.

Wow, I actually finished it... Well, too much things were stuffed in this one double sized issue, but it was good. Nice conclusion. Not 10/10 perfect, but pretty heartwarming to give it at least 9.5. The series had its ups and downs, but the majority of them were certainly ups! P.S. wow, there's even a letter from James Kochalka himself...

How to write not scary at all story about the monster

Yeah and that really can be a TPB, because these stories are about the same - monsters. However, there's still no connection between the issues, but this I at least can imagine as a TPB.

Actually, I like this issue. In my childhood it was one of my favourite, especially because of the colors. This Scorpion is so greeeen. I like it. As well as the art. Story was cool too. Time adds a lot of tense to this and the conclusion makes you really feel dissapointment!

These two stories are again connected + art is awesome (1st story was drawn by John Royle again!). However, 1st story is kinda similar to the SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN ADVENTURES #121 and the second reminds me about SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN ADVENTURES #150 a bit. But yeah, still good especially for this exact series. Also in russian edition they placed Daredevil instead of Carnage on the cover...

Ethan is an interesting character and it was so obviously that he is a superhero. Also look at the Absorbing Man. Isn't he a cool villain? Yeah, stupid, but he really could be undefeatable if he was clever. And it was a clever move to take Peter's wallet. That lady had a great potential. I know, that she will d-i-e and it's such a waste... But still, this issue was very cool. Cool action, cool twists, cool dialogues, artist draws even better. And the cover by McNiven is brilliant. Some Superman marvel made here. Hey, Ethan's story really is very similar to Superman's... But it will be revealed later.

A-W-E-S-O-M-E I just don't know what to say here... You will never read anything like that in the silver age. Owl twist was cool and unexpected (I read it before, but somehow forgot about it). And the ending... So promising and depressing.

Well, that every page of that Hank Pym scene was wery horrific, I love it. And that was about a half of this issue. The story is developing slowly, but can't say that's bad. Now there's Silver Surfer flying around and Galactus incoming. Well, food... I just don't understand how could these zombies eat (I MEAN EAT) all billions of people on their planet within 3 days. That's another stupidity and that wasn't even necessary. They could give them at least month to do that and send Surfer after that. However, that could do speedsters like Quicksilver or Speed or Northstar and etc. And even if they are dead, they are still... well... alive? Does Silver Surfer of their universe didn't swear not to feed to Galactus planets with life on them? But it is still a good comic.

Not a masterpiece, but still one of my favourite and unusual comic books.

This comic reveals much about the zombieverse. We see here the beginning described much better and detailed! And the cliffhanger is awesome.

Well, here is an explanation of how zombies ate all billions of people around the world in three days. It really was the Quicksilver, as I supposed. And Doom is awesome here. However, it kinda disappointed me, that Necronomicon is really exists in that universe, but it did nothing to cause the zombie attack.

Funny, horrific, interesting. Plus it's a good addition to the whole Marvel Zombies series and reveals more details about that universe and how it began.

This is the chronological beginning of Marvel Zombies. It was printed after the Marvel Zombies vol 1, so it was a good addition and this comic explains much. Robert Kirkman is awesome writer and Sean Phillips is a good artist too! This looks horrific and I simply love this series. However, there's not that much logic. I mean, originally Robert wanted to make Luke Cage the only survivor because of his unbreakable skin. But Greg Land already drawn him in Ultimate Fantastic Four #22. So, he just played with the cards he got. But Colossus somehow was easily made zombie too... That's just weird, I think it's naive and kinda lazy. Also Stark is inventing too fast, I don't believe it. And I know, that many people can hate Reed Richards here, but I think his behaviour is understandable. He lost his kids and maybe gone mad... Also it's just stupid, that meta-humans bite each other and don't eat other heroes to death, but they eat all people to death and people don't turn into monsters. That's weird. Why did they make themselves a competitors? Less zombies - more food... But if you will not think, than you will like this comic. It is a very good horror to read and super valuable addition to the series.

It is really nice addition to the series that was published 25 years before this comic. But it still looks just like it was made in the 90's... So cool, they really didn't lose that vibe. The iconic epilogue for the iconic series.

I really love to see Spidey helpless like this, especially when after this he can stand up and win. It's funny how at the same time Spidey really was almost beaten to death by Morlun in ASM. Fusion was just a training.

This. Is. Mindblowing. Just read it! I read it before years ago, but now I still got surprised by all twists and etc. There are some boring moments, but that's not much and doesn't make the comics worse. Really recommend this series to read at least for this exact issue. And as I remember, Russian will become trans person here too. I love this character for his weirdness. He is unique. Also there were Jigsaw and Barracuda from Max universe.

It was intense and epic

This is kinda epic Kingpin's story. Plus they show us, that Kingpin and Punisher are very similar, but so different at the same time... Interesting parallel.

The first story is really well done! It's about Spider-Man vs Hulkage. It's kinda weird, that Carnage abandoned Cletus and decided to merge with the Hulk, but it doesn't make it less epic! And the Venom cameo is just as good as it could be. Plus the awesome John Royle is still here. 9/10 And the second story was about the Fantastic Four vs Mephisto. I find it kinda weird, but it's good. It's better, than both stories from the previous issue. And the art is still cool even if it's not John Royle. Yeah, it was kinda interesting. Rushed, but not bad at all. 8/10 So it's a 8.5 + 1.0. Really good issue. That's the example of some awesome comics in the magazine, which isn't about comics at all...

Dad's death scene could be better. And I really don't understand what's the point of showing the scenes with some alien language without any translation. How should I understand this? Or I shouldn't? But that grasshopper scene seems completely weird... But anyways, it's not like it really matters. UPD. Okay, it's Esperanto, actually. I wonder why google translate didn't want to understand the language correctly at first. But now it feels better. I'm just too lazy to really translate everything, but at least now I know how to.

The far you go - the better it tastes

It gets better and better! I didn't even realize that it was the issue with only Will and Gwen. And it was great! I think, you know the story is good when even some side characters may be interesting just like the lead characters. Or even better maybe.

Yes, maybe I'm overrating it. I don't care, this book made me so happy like no other books made for a long period of time. Pure fan-service with a funny lightweight story and brilliant artwork.

This is a must read. Objectively and unquestionably.

Hey, it was funny enough. This issue is mega hilarious. It was an interesting story. Plus I really like to see their relationship through different periods. At this point they are a real friends and not just some rivals. I remember that in the 5th issue Peter became even the part of their family.

Um... Not the satisfying end. But it's not an end at all!

Well, this is an arguable story. It's dark, heavy and hopeless... But it's really good, at least this exact issue. It could easily be a one-shot, this story didn't need to be continued. But well, there are 3 issues more. What can I say about the art: it's weird, but I like it! I didn't like it years ago, but now it seems great for me. It fits with the tone of this story. I remember next issues being not that good and even awful, but maybe I'll have a different opinion this time. P.S. It's not 10, because I have some questions... For example, how could Jonah be alive, when Peter is SOOOOO old? And where are all the other superheroes? Okay, maybe there was not that many of them in this universe and they are hiding just like Peter. But the issue with Jonah is still haunting me...

Impressive! Very impressive! It's a unique piece of story, that gives us an insight on how things work in the criminal world for "bad guys" when Spidey saves the day. There was no Spider-Man at all - only a shadow of him on the screen. But even with the one-issue characters it feels like an outstanding story! My only complaint is - I didn't really understand what was the fault of that exact guy and why Fisk killed him. It's not like it really-really matters, but it would be better if I understood his guilt. I mean, okay, they had an agreement, but what agreement?

Awesome Rhino story! So deep and depressing. Maybe some transitions were too quick and unexpected, but mostly it was really cool to read.
