I liked it, but I know this issue might not sit well with long-time fans because of Martin Stein's characterization. All the drama surrounding the creation of the Firestorm project is interesting, but it's cruel to see Ronnie being manipulated. I haven't read much of the character, so this change probably won't affect me as much as others, but I understand it could disappoint a lot of people. I'm giving it 9.5 for the amazing art, the very interesting plot, and because I'm really hyped for future issues.more

I felt the issue got a bit bogged down by excessive dialogue, it didn't need that much. Having a lot of dialogue is fine, but here it just didn't help move the story forward. That being said, I can't deny it kept me hooked the whole way through. I really liked the characterization of Deadman, and this supernatural horror vibe is right up my alley. I'll definitely check out the next issues.

I liked the conclusion, but it's sad to realize how uninteresting Absolute Zatanna is. In the finale, we get some great moments with WW, Veronica Cale, and even the Greek gods, but Zatanna and her father show up at the beginning and then just vanish. They’ll probably come back, but wasn't this arc sold as being theirs? And if you look at it with that in mind, this ending is a disappointment. But I did like the issue; it’s really hard for this series to disappoint me. I think it’s very solid and well-made, both in terms of art and writing, even if the latter slips up every now and then.more

A good conclusion to this mini-arc. It’s nice to have a mainline monthly Flash book that’s pleasant to read and even look at. The art is good and the writing worked for me too, most of the comedic bits landed well, and the conflict resolution involved Linda, which is always a good thing.

My issue with this run so far is this: everyone is happy, and I need Hunter (Zoom) to show up to mak e things even more interesting. I say this mostly because of the descriptions for upcoming issues, which seem to insist that 'everything is perfect,' but this issue was good regardless.more

Sorry, but this is so much fun. REALLY fun. Hopefully, in the next issue, Prime will be confronted with his sins for real, without anyone interfering.

It's such a fun adventure, and well-drawn. I like that JW is using some long-forgotten secondary characters in this arc, which makes everything even better. For me, the best issue of the arc so far.

Interesting idea, but with mediocre execution so far.

It's very similar to the Clark origin we all know. We have Smallville, the Kents, but everything takes place a few years earlier since Lex, Pete, Lois, Perry, and the others are much younger.

There's an interesting hook for the future with this whole Jor-El/Jordan thing wanting to help Earth through his inventions, which l eaves room for surprises. It's cool to see Metallo as a scientist and Lex marveled by Superman's first appearance, on top of starting to draw some interesting parallels between Jor-El and Lex. For now, that's it,hope it gets better and manages to develop its plots more, since it has a lot of potential. And the art is kinda meh, sorry.more

It’s an issue focused on build-up, but I liked it. I want to see Wally interact with Vic.

The mystery being built up is actually good, but I'm very afraid that all this with Kid Jon might be another trick. At least Slott is throwing in a lot of false flags to make us think otherwise, in case he really isn't the real one. Good art, okay script, I like the use of the other characters in Superman's cast, like Bibbo (I thought he was really going to die 😭) and Ron Troupe. I want to see wh ere this is going, but I'm very worried that everything will be undone at the end. At least Tomorrow Man's design is cool. more
