Kabooooom - Matt Morrison
Mar 19, 2026If Conan the Barbarian #30 has a flaw, it is that one must read the previous issue in order to fully appreciate the contrast between last month’s horror and this month’s humor. Beyond that, it is another example of why Titan Comics and Heroic Signatures have been nailing it every month since taking over the Conan license. This is a true tale of high adventure! Comical Opinions - Gabriel Hernandez
Mar 25, 2026Conan the Barbarian #30 is a pragmatic reminder that Zub and Braithwaite actually understand the DNA of this character better than almost anyone in the last decade. The creative team delivers a masterfully measured balance of character study and bone-crunching violence that justifies every cent of its cover price. While the art occasionally trades background detail for atmosphere, the core narrative of a predator meeting his match is executed with professional grace. This comic earns a place on any curated pull list because it respects the reader’s time and the character’s legacy without falling for the usual hype-driven gimmicks. Read Full Review

Comic Book Clique - Frank Jarome
Mar 17, 2026Month in and month out, this title is a highlight of my reading pile, and as long as Zub and company remain at the helm, I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Conan himself may be prone to gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, but when I read this comic each month, I just feel mirth. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Al Mega
Mar 23, 2026Conan the Barbarian #30 is lean, mean, blood-splattered storytelling done right. It’s got fists, blades, stalking tension, and a rising enemy who feels like he actually matters. This isn’t just another solid issue in the run. This is the kind of chapter that reminds you why Conan remains one of the most untouchable icons in sword-and-sorcery history. Read Full Review

Jim Zub continues to impress with probably the best Conan writer since Roy Thomas. Each issue seems to get better.

The set up in the last issue for this villain was excellent. So, seeing Conan from his point of view in this issue was a great followup. I love the fact that Conan knew he was being observed the entire time. Let's see how this battle goes. It's unusual that Zub takes a story 3 issues. Looking forward tot he wrap upt. Will they end as friends wor with the assassin dead?
