I've been waiting for this book to come out for a while now, and it didn't disappoint. Really loved the themes of this, in particular, and I'm very much looking forward to those being explored further as the series continues. Though, as much as I can talk about how good the writing is, something more interesting that's a bit more easily visible here is the formatting of this book. The majority of it isn't presented like a standard comic, in that quite a few pages of the first half, or so, of this are formatted more as Mar's journals that feature panels of art along with them. This is where Otsmane-Elhaou gets to show off how great of a letterer he is. When it came to Mar's handwriting, I thought he did a fantastic job of making it feel auth more
