Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield
The way Di Manes has developed his own, utilitarian brand of magic specifically designed to neutralize characters like Zatanna is pretty fascinating, and his MO is inscrutable enough that it’s really had to figure out what he wants and if he’s a villain or simply a rival. But Zatanna’s way wins the day here, leading to a really emotional conclusion that serves as a great end to act one of this series. Read Full Review

Still struggles with continuity from time to time (the pacing can be a bit jumpy) but I think that's mostly coz Campbell has all these awesome scenes he's envisioned and is desperate to get to. Will not complain about it too much because, like last issue, it gives us some pretty spectacular scenes.
