SciFiPulse - Ian Cullen
Dec 29, 2025This is a solid issue that brings the conflict between the Nagai and the Zantarrk Consortium, under the leadership of Reyna Oskure, to a decisive turning point. The stakes feel fully realised here, with the tension between resistance and exploitation finally boiling over into open confrontation rather than lingering in the background. Read Full Review

Jan 07, 2026There are a lot of moving parts here, and a good number of characters on the move, that allows this to work better than it should. I'm still of mind that it'll read better as a full arc rather than the monthly trail I'm on, but it's definitely doing more than a lot of other Star Wars series in trying to up its game. Oskure just isn't a compelling villain, and it's taken a bit to really connect with the Nagai storyline since I'm so used to light and easily dropped subplots in Star Wars comics. This issue starts to draw things together more with all that's involved and I'm definitely enjoying it. Rynn and Bastion have been welcome additions to play against the leads, and Valance in the mix is a huge plus for something different than most of our usual legacy characters. Read Full Review

Dec 24, 2025It's a solid issue that fans who've kept up with the series should enjoy, however if you're just jumping in or you've missed an issue or two you might be a bit confused. It's still a decent read that fans of the series will enjoy. Read Full Review

Such a shame that the sad state of Marvel has fallen upon the Star Wars books too. This should be such an exciting time for Star Wars comics finally diving into new territory with the original series crew yet we're given a below average writer telling the most bland story with all generic new characters. The only decent moment was Valance sparing Han from killing the villain.
Completely apathetic to everything happening and really hope Marvel Star Wars gets their house in order to restart stories in this era with a talented new creative team.+ Like • Comment -

Dead Book Walking. This entire run of Star Wars has been boring and inconsequential. Segura needs to be fired and Marvel needs to do something to get some hype going for the Star Wars line stat!
