Jun 10, 2026The Sentry was everything I wanted it to be. Paul Jenkins showed everyone why he’s the writer you call if you’re looking for an introspection on a character battling their inner demons. Everything about this creative team was in sync. This would have easily worked as a longer ongoing run. Read Full Review

Really liked this ending. The writing for Bob's character, specifically, is the strongest aspect of this. The crystalline stuff still didn't interest me a whole lot, but I don't really think it was particularly meant to be that intriguing. That said, Jenkins continues to do a great job of making Bob a compelling character, and I really appreciated how he handled Bob moving on at the end, as well as his attempt to balance out the Void's actions what those of Sentry. It would have been cool to see Jenkins explore this further if this were an ongoing, but I'm still satisfied with this as the ending.
