There’s an intriguing mystery at its core, and plenty of action along the way. Chris, I love you man. All that you have done of X-men cannot be repaid. But this book was so mid. it adds nothing. we didnt need it. The art and the colors are just dreadful. My score is higher after reading current Uncanny X-men then this right after. gambit is in a trench coat and suit at a high end casino. just painful.

Another unnecessary tale from a long gone x-era, once again routinely written by the old master, Chris Claremont, and horribly drawn by, well… someone. What all those series have in common is, that there are basically no stakes - we know where the characters will end up - and that they never reach the high quality of the original books of the era they are set in.
Gambit: Wanted is badly executed, boring and completely forgettable, but I hope it helps Mr. Claremont supplement his retirement. -
