    Comic Watch - Tyler Davis

The Amazing Spider-Man #10 is a definitive wheel-spinner, one that utilizes its purposeful delay before the next anniversary issue to layer in a sincere sense of unease as the series gears up to launch Peter Parker into strange, uncharted territory. With Michael Dowlings moody pencils and a taste for alienating brutality, Kelly's run on the webslinger is taking a decisive turn into the unexpected. Read Full Review

Seeing an efficient Spider-Man always give me chills. What if Peter let go a little bit more. He WOULD be more effective. We've seen it with Kaine, Superior and now... this person. Whoever they are. It's brutal. It's impactful. Villains are scared. I am super down for this story. New guy in the suit, new Peter prowling around. Felicia actually being impacted by what happened to Peter. Tombstone getting the message that there is a new Spider-Man in town and "Peter" isn't going to be strongarmed into helping him anymore. Really solid issue. I could do without Captain Kintsugi. I think he's just a Kelly creation that he hopes will catch on but so far there is literally nothing to latch onto. He has done nothing but appear, get in the way and t more

Interesting twist and general direction. The writing was really good and the art was ok. I was on the verge of taking Spiderman back off my pull list but this issue convinced me to give it a few more.

That ending turned me from being an annoyed reader to mildly interested but cautious. Let's see what happens but as ASM reader I've been disappointed before. I just don't want anymore clones for while. Michael Dowling on art was very good!

So glad to see anything other than JRJr. The story itself was ok, with a cool ending that has me somewhat intrigued.

This and last issue were for sure one book and editorial made them split it up so that the reveal will be in the anniversary issue. Which would be okay if it wasn't obvious and kinda boring.
