The Comic Book Spot - beastfire

Samantha Strong keeps proving that she's one of the most chilling murderers in comics, toying with a former victim's family just for her own curiosity, all with that same serene smile. Read Full Review

Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees: Rite of Spring #4 takes the story to the next level and never lets the reader down. As this series goes on the stakes get higher and the levels that good people will stoop to get lower. AIPT - David Brooke

The calm before the kill is still captivating, it just leaves you hungry for the next strike. Read Full Review

    Screaming Enigma

The stuff with Monica investigating the house and dealing with the new family was the best part of this. Everything else here was good, but not what I was as interested in. Particularly the Bertie-centric stuff. I think he's a neat character and all, but what he's up to isn't grabbing me in the same way that Monica's and Samantha's, respective, material has.

It's not as wild as the first series, but it has a lot of good scenes that make it a joy to read.
