You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jul 22, 2026Once again, this particular combination of characters feels more or less perfectly drawn that the page by this particular creative team. Black Canary, Green Arrow and Batman have worked together before. It's not always easy to get a team like this together in a way that makes sense. Tailoring company really make it feel like they could have had a remarkably long history together. Even their own series. But obviously that never happened. What began as a family grudge with a murderous twist turns into something far darker and more tragic, and hints that there might be a much bigger hand working at this for a long time. This leads to a startling revelation that takes Flight onto a shocking path. This arc has played out like a highly effective murder mystery, and the creative team has made this a fascinating read.
