Your overall comic book rating is 2.1 Seriously, I wonder if you should look into a different hobby. If you have to read so many books that you dislike, that is a tough place to be. I know this will probably be read as something mean, but I don't mean it that way. I sincerely think you should reconsider.

Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield
Aug 09, 2022These tales are four-for-four so far as DC continues to show that limited event tie-ins are the way to go. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - William Tucker
Aug 09, 2022Dark Crisis: Worlds without a Justice League - Green Lantern #1 has two amazing character stories. What makes the Green Lantern and the Hawkgirl story stand out is both of them are succinctly focused on their main figures, whereas the previous one-shot was happy to explore the supporting cast too. Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles
Aug 09, 2022The Hawkgirl story benefits from Adams' impressive ability to condense Hawkgirl's backstory into a quick synopsis with a quick turnaround quest. Johnson will deliver a great story and likely even a one-shot if given a full issue to tell the story. This is recommended for fans of the characters who want to see how they're being affected during Dark Crisis. Read Full Review

ComicBook.com - Adam Barnhardt
Aug 10, 2022While Herbert's layouts and lineart sync perfectly with Adams' pulp-style adventure, the Stewart story is a bit too small for its own good, especially when dealing with the idea of a multiverse head-on. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Eric Shea
Aug 09, 2022The Worlds Without A Justice League continues to feel like a cash grab as the issues themselves don't do anything to further the Dark Crisis story, and in this issue, it even seems to go against what we saw in the last issue of the event. Maybe things will line up later on, but as of right now this issue has decent art and two stories featuring John Stewart and Kendra Saunders where neither feels like they would be content with the strange dream worlds that were made for them. I like the character, I like the writer, but this comic was just ok.
The Worlds Without a JL Superman comic gave us a world Clark might've really wanted. I don't know what to make of John's fantasy-land. Frankly, I thought the Hawkgirl back-up was better.+ Like • Comment -

LOL This is the most hilarious issue I've ever read in years. So while in Superman's tie-in he dreams that he could spend time with his son, John Stewart wants a world without anyone better than him, like the Trinity, and Hal Jordan. Thus he will be praised as the greatest hero the world's ever seen, by his mother. What does the writer want to say? John Stewart is such a man of vanity? Or it's just another case of crazy fanboyism, like Geoff Thorne? Anyway it suits him well.
