As I read each book to get caught up to do this review, I became more and more intrigued by this version of Batman. It's definitely been unique but issue #5 has been a perfect blend of the unique and the traditional. It's definitely got me counting down the days until the final issue is released and I cannot wait to see what's in store for an Immortal Legend Joker.

Overall, Immortal Legend Batman #6 definitely sticks the landing on this rather unique take on Batman. The characters are easily recognizable despite the weird surroundings. In the end, that's all you can ask for when you're reading a comic. The art is dazzling if not a little overstimulated at times, but I respect the choice of going big when it's something as legendary as Batman vs. The Joker.

The Bat-Man: Second Knight #3 |

The ending surprised me in that we never see Bruce get a happy ending. I respect the choice but it does sadden me that we likely won't get a Third Knight. I really wanted to see a Joker in this world but I guess I'll have to wait until we get that second season of Caped Crusader (season one is excellent by the way).
Overall, I enjoyed this series and issue but Superman wasn't needed and it hurt the story.

Scott Snyder and guest artist Eric Cantente did it again, overall. The plot is solid and the pictures look great. The biggest problem with Absolute Batman #18 is pacing and that has a snowball effect on being able to follow the story.
