What a way to start a crossover! Percy’s writing is almost perfect and this is the first time I’ve seen Shaw’s art!! Wow!! Outstanding!!! Can’t wait for the next chapter!!
Ghost Rider / Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance: Alpha
LOGAN & BLAZE - THE WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE!
LOGAN's the best there is at what he does - and what he does as the deadly WOLVERINE isn't very nice. When innocent blood is spilled, JOHNNY BLAZE becomes the GHOST RIDER, equipped to deal punishment with the power of hellfire! A demonic serial killer is murdering innocent mutants. But what is it about...
I’m usually not a fan of annuals since the stories and art are usually subpar. However, I was ecstatic to read how enjoyable this issue was with Williamson’s writing and the art team. Strong throughout and leads right into the next epic storyline and it looks awesome. Kudos.
Superman Annual: 2023
Lois Lane is now editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, but at heart she'll always be an investigative reporter. And lately Metropolis has had a whole new set of secrets she must uncover. Even if it means investigating her own husband...Superman! Featuring Livewire, Parasite, and Mercy, this special issue is your next big puzzle piece leading to a ma...
After an incredible issue #25, MacKay takes a downturn to the action and focuses on Hunter’s Moon. The dialogue between Andrea and Badr is interesting but the issue as a whole feels like a sudden shift to the action packed issues I’ve been used to. It’s Mackay’s fault for spoiling me. Overall my score is based on this issue alone and not the series as my enthusiasm hasn’t diminished whatsoever.
Moon Knight #26
While Moon Knight is dealing with the apocalyptic events of MOON KNIGHT #25, what of Hunter's Moon? Khonshu's faithful Fist leads new converts to war, but how exactly was his most recent resurrection flawed, and does this new weakness spell doom for Dr. Badr? PLUS: A bonus page written by Jonathan Hickman - WHO ARE THE G.O.D.S.?
What can I say? The dynamic team of Duggan and Caselli can do no wrong. I’m excited about the X-Men for the first time in a loooog time. There are true ramifications from the Hellfire Gala and The Fall of X arc looks to change things radically for our mutants. Exciting storyline and art as all plot lines in different titles are converging into an awesome EPIC EXPERIENCE!!!
X-Men #25
THE FALL.
She's been known as Kitty, Sprite, Ariel, Red Queen and Captain Kate. Now, as a new X-Men team finds their way through their darkest hour...SHADOWKAT emerges!
I just don’t get it. I am an FF fan but this volume doesn’t do it for me. It’s been boring and it’s not for me.
This title is dangerously close to dropping off my read list.
Fantastic Four #10
Thousands of years ago, a desperate alien race built a colossal sleeper ship - an ark - to escape their dying sun, setting a course toward a new and distant world. A single volunteer was to be awakened from stasis every hundred years to serve as their protector and caretaker, before finally training the next one. But something has gone horribly wro...
I usually hate stand alone issues as they are mostly filler and unentertaining. But, boy, MacKay con do no wrong. Not only did this issue surprise me but it leads directly into the next story arc. Way to go!
Doctor Strange #6
Many years ago, Doctor Strange fought in a five thousand-year battle called the War of the Seven Spheres. But what was it? And how did it create the mysterious threat that plagues Strange today? PLUS: A bonus page written by Jonathan Hickman - WHO ARE THE G.O.D.S.?
I really enjoyed Taylor’s 6 issue miniseries. It was a fun little detour for Jon Kent’s storyline and I enjoyed it. Does this storyline have any impact on the DC All In era? Probably not but kudos to Taylor for an entertaining story.
Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #6
It's Batman versus Superman. Super Son versus Super Son. Injustice Superman is ruling with a fist of steel. Can Jon Kent free an entire world? And what could he lose if he tries?
Meh…this issue didn’t blow me away in any aspect. Some closure to the Beast storyline but nothing to write home about.
Wolverine #35
WEAPONS OF X CONCLUSION! WOLVERINE. BEAST. Only one of 'em's left standing after these CLONE WARS. And it ain't no clone. The brutal finale of Wolverine's CLONE SAGA sets the stage for LOGAN's next journey and presages things to come for KRAKOA!
Rated T+
Man, I’m bummed. I really enjoyed last issue but this issue was not good. What could’ve been an interesting turn of events for Norman Osborn ended up a ridiculous ending. I love Spidey and I only keep reading because he’s one of my favorite characters. However, Wells needs to turn this sinking ship around quick or I’m jumping ship until a new writer comes along.
Amazing Spider-Man #30
Spidey goes one last round with the new and improved Doc Ock. Can his newest ally help turn the tide?

Very interested to see where Gronbekk is going with this new story arc and next issue’s cover with Doctor Doom’s mask makes this title a must read for now. Lashley’s art shines through every single panel.
Venom #23
A NEW VISION OF TOXIN! Toxin is the offspring of the most dangerous symbiote in the history of the Marvel Universe: CARNAGE. But while Carnage and Cletus Kasady are separated and both devising machinations and plans of cosmic bloodshed and conquest, what has its progeny been doing? And will Dylan Brock or the Venom symbiote survive when they come f...
This was a shocker to me about how bad this issue was. It feels like it was put together with no real effort to make it entertaining. If the upcoming crossover doesn’t improve what I just read, I think I will be done with this series.
Ghost Rider #16
Over the years, the same hitchhiker has found Danny Ketch, Robbie Reyes and now Johnny Blaze! Join us for this stand-alone tale of terror that threatens the past present, and future of the Ghost Riders...

Rowell and Andres have made me a fan of She-Hulk! Since this is the last issue of this volume, I’m rating the series as a whole and really enjoyed it. I’m glad we are getting a new volume with this duo and can’t wait to dive in.
She-Hulk #15
Scoundrel pushes She-Hulk to the limit in her final push to save all of NYC from her newest rogue! Meanwhile, the Fight Club has their hands full taking on an alien horde!

Dugan is writing some of his best material ever with Invincible Iron Man!
Frigeri’s art is phenomenal! This dynamic duo has made this title a must read every month so far. I can’t wait to read the next issue.

HELLFIRE GALA TIE-IN! As the X-Men throw their latest Hellfire Gala, Iron Man has to contend with the new Stark Sentinels flying through New York! Can Tony stop these mutant-hunting machines alone? Guest-starring Emma Frost!

Kudos to Cantwell!! I really enjoyed this miniseries and have become a fan of Hellcat. Can’t wait to see her next chapter and what will happen with Patsy.
Hellcat #5
Patsy has been transformed into...DEMONIC HELLCAT! With her very humanity at stake, can she overcome the powers of darkness that have been unleashed? All is revealed as both the past and the present collide in a final battle that will determine the rest of Hellcat's future - if she has one!

I have faith in McKay based on his phenomenal run on Moon Knight. The new villains are very original and interesting. The art is awesome and although there still seems to be something missing to this story, I am here for the patient ride.
Avengers #3
The first Tribulation Event strikes the Earth! The Avengers fly into action as the Ashen Combine - a collection of the Multiverse's greatest monsters - descends from the Impossible City to follow their respective appetites. Cityslayers all, pursuing the assassination of metropolitan areas for sport!

Yeah, I’m out!! While I’ve enjoyed Silk in previous volumes, this miniseries is boring. I don’t even care to know how it ends.
Silk #3
SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES!
A powerful, ancient witch is draining the life force out of young people!
Silk has to figure out how to stop her before she claims another victim.
But Silk doesn't know that SHE is the witch's next target!
RATED T+
I didn’t enjoy Donny Cates’ run at all either the fractured psyche of the Hulk and the whole spaceship nonsense. But, this is true to form and Philip Kennedy Johnson has caught me hook, line and sinker.
Incredible Hulk #2
The Mother of Horrors demands her freedom! And in order to make it happen, her most dutiful servant - a terrifying monstrosity who calls herself the Eldest - seeks to reclaim that wayward son of monsters: the Hulk himself. I have never been an Ultimate Universe fan. I only read Ultimate Spider Man and enjoyed it thoroughly. However, Hickman has made this latest return to the Ultimate Universe very interesting and I’m excited to see where it all leads. Also, Hitch’s art is a huge plus.
Ultimate Invasion #2
The Maker plans to make sure Earth's Mightiest Heroes never become heroes at all. And then he can reshape the universe into exactly what he wants it to be...

Wow! I’m blown away! I haven’t given a 10 to an X-Men comic in years, much less an an X-Men event. But this one-shot was unbelievable in story, art and pacing. I never felt that the issue was padded due to its huge 78 page count. I just kept turning the page and shock after shock after shock!! This is a true event and The Fall of X looks to be a game-changer as the Krakoan age comes to a shoc more
X-Men: Hellfire Gala 2023 #1

I’m really enjoying this new story arc as it’s taken T’Challa to new places not only geographically but as a character. Christopher Allen’s art reminds me of Scott Kolins and that is a huge compliment. Two issues in, I’m along for the ride.
Black Panther #2
Who is the mysterious Beisa? Delve deeper into Wakanda as we - and T'Challa - have never seen her! No longer in the Golden City, T'Challa goes deep undercover to try to understand the heart of this city that feels it has been forgotten by the Black Panther.
