Jun 03, 2026I had very high hopes for the ending of this arc, and all of my expectations were surpassed. This is a comic the fandom will not want to miss! Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026The end of Graymalkin prison signals a last stand for the ages in this incredible arc finale. Simone keeps raising the bar on the intense drama and payoffs. Vecchio and Wilson don’t miss on delivering a non-stop thrill ride. This run never misses on delivering the best X-Men storytelling possible! Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026Vecchio creates some great visual moments throughout the issue. The character scenes and pages showcasing the gathered characters themselves are some of my favorite visually. Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026Uncanny X-Men #30 sticks the landing on a storyline that has been building for a long time. Gail Simone balances multiple battles, character revelations, and emotional beats without losing momentum, while Luciano Vecchio's artwork injects nearly every page with energy and excitement. Perimeter continues to evolve into a genuinely unsettling villain, and the multiple threats keep you guessing as the story pinballs from one threat to another. A few supporting elements, particularly the Outliers, feel underserved given their importance to the arc, but the issue's strong pacing, striking visuals, and satisfying resolutions make it one of the most entertaining chapters of the run. Comic Watch - Jamison Nilsson
Jun 08, 2026Uncanny X-Men #29 is a messy ending to two poorly handled storylines with lazy writing and simplistic artwork. This storyline, which covers the past four issues, does not respect the readers' time, interest in this series, or the money they spent on these comic books, and therefore, I cannot personally recommend this issue. Finally some answers. Do they make sense though? Not really. With more and more of the same horror-related threats, plus a step down in art quality since Marquez left, I think this was my last issue of Safe Space X-Men. Bye.

Christ sakes Gail. she rushes to an ending as fast as possible to move on to the next story arc and thats the payoff? this book is dumb, and a mess. Mutant X 's character design is terrible. the battles absolutely suck in what little we even see of them. the Wolverine and nightcrawler battle is 2 panels of nothing but teleporting and return to normal. the art is indy level and Terrible. the new x members are terrible. Gail has no voice for these characters and ending on Monet and quicksilver being offered to lead the X-men is the nail in the coffin for the book. Uncanny X-men- a flagship title has 4 critic reviews. issue #1 had 17 critic reviews. No ones reading this and bless them because it sucks. just awful ,dreadful storytelling by more

One of the most sloppy, rushed, unsatisfying and abrupt endings to a major storyline that I can remember. Dreadful stuff.
