Jed MacKay establishes the enormous pressure facing Cyclops while effectively contrasting his unified X-Men with the volatile personalities of 3K. Reed and Beast's debate adds another layer to the impending conflict, with Invisible Woman stealing the scene when she steps in. Readers expecting an explosive event opener may be surprised by how restrained the action is, but Federico Vicentini's excellent character work and a promising cliffhanger suggest the fireworks are coming soon. This is a lot of people standing around talking. It seems like action is coming next issue but the jury’s still out on whether I will return for it.

It's really hard for me to rate this issue. Although I don't like the art style, I can see some quality in it. I'm sure many readers will enjoy it, especially the ones who prefer the X-Men fast, loud, colourful and without much substance.
The writing is decent, but on the other hand, there's nothing new or intriguing here, that makes me want to keep on reading. -

This issue is not worth buying. A bold statement but let me explain. The art is manga inspired and ok. If you like that style you may in fact think it’s awesome. What about the story? Well, it's a complete rehash of a story not even one year old and a continuation , with zero conclusion or expansion of anything, to the last X-men issue.Here is the plot "The X-men are looking for 3k and trying to convince the FF to restore Magneto with a shit ton of talking." Thats it. However, this issue is the best writing Jed has done in a while...but it’s still not that good.
Back to my opening sentence- well I said the art is ok and the story is Jeds best writing on the title in some time.Why is it not worth buying considering that all the X-me more -
