What an amazing follow-up issue to the first issue of White Sky. I love this creative team. It’s amazing to see a creative team where there’s enough trust between the writer and the artist for the writer to give the artist a whole page to work their magic. Both Bill Harms and JP Mavinga stand out in this issue as masterful storytellers within their given mediums. I can’t wait for White Sky #3. Read Full Review

Answers are coming, faithful readers. They have to be for this series to be successful. Just don’t expect them all at once. And, as with some of the best tales, expect those answers to open up even more perplexing questions. Read Full Review

    Fanlight Zone - Richard Coryell

White Sky #2 does a great job of following up the groundwork that issue one set up. The additional things we find out about the world, build it up more, well adding some more horror to the story as well. The threat of the ghosts are only matched by the outlaws and their cannibalistic ways. As the mysteries are unraveled and new ones appear, they will surely keep the reader in suspense and hooked. Grab a copy of this issue at the LCS and see what all the hypes about. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

    Mar 25, 2026

It's really good that the backstory is not completely developed. The relative disorientation of the history that led to the first issue is suitably brought to the page in a story. That's really focused on the here and now. Survival is much more important than the history of how everything got to be the way it is. That sort of information is likely to be gradually introduced to the page in a time. For now, it's really just a matter of Violet making it to where she needs to be before the darkness consumes her entirely. Read Full Review

Get Your Comic On - Aaron Gillingham

Issue 2 of White Sky hits the ground running, revelling in its pitch-perfect atmosphere and underlying tension. This second instalment instead doubles down on the horror, allowing JP Mavinga’s haunting artwork to do a lot of the heavy lifting. Read Full Review

A fine cross between a post-apocalyptic tale and a ghost story, White Sky #2 is showing a good amount of promise so far. The story’s getting more and more intriguing, and a little bit more about the current apocalypse is revealed. Hoping to learn more soon. Read Full Review

I thought it was pretty awesome as it's trying to be his own thing.
Of course the art could be a bit leveled up, but this is exactly presenting the current state of the white sky world. This does kinda feels like a movie instead of a comic issue, but I love how it goes and there is def potential for growth.

I gave it a try, honestly. The artwork is even worse than issue one. The color is great, though. The story is as slow as it can be, clearly trying to make this title artificially longer. At my LCBS they have about 20 copies. They have sold 2 only. The hype dies when faces the quality, which is non existent here. I’m off this train.
