Great sophomore issue, introducing a bunch of new characters and steadily developing the plot and bringing out the McGuffin. McConville writes a riotous but compassionate She-Devil and De Bonis’ action scenes crackle. If they keep it up, this will be the best Sonja ongoing since Mark Russell’s. It’s already eclipsed Gail Simone’s overrated effect. Hopefully its sales are a reflection of its excellent reviews and we get this team for a good long while
