    This series continues to be a whole lot of FOMO for me when it comes to the Absolute universe. I want to see the characters and the variations here, and what they mean to this larger storyline being told, but it’s an incredibly frustrating book where I feel like Chase half the time – I have no idea what they’re talking about. Utilizing familiar naming conventions and reworking them isn’t unusual, but it just doesn’t feel grounded and natural here – which I admit makes sense – but it’s proving to be a barrier to enjoyment. It’s got a lot of things I like in terms of characters and some of the concepts of it all, but it still just feels like it’s a kludge from issue to issue with what it’s trying to do, lacking any real clarity. But I’m a sucker to keep reading because I don’t want to miss out on seeing interesting variations of characters I like. Read Full Review
