Mar 28, 2024The story building behind just eating monsters is getting more intense and more interesting as volumes go on. Kabru starts sowing doubts about Laios and Falin being the most upstanding characters, so either this is from other people’s perspectives, or all is not right in the world of our protagonists. Chilchuck is staring to also have some depth and show feelings other than greed. There are quite a few other characters in this volume that haven’t popped up in quite some time, so we’re getting to the point where a character tree in the front of the book would be helpful.
