Aug 15, 2024This was a satisfying volume that really dove into the creation of the dungeon itself and how Sissel became distorted in his role (it still doesn’t clear up an earlier misconception about the party believing Sissel was female, but oh well). A lot of lingering questions were answered, and there was also ample time given to understand an humanize Sissel's struggle. Based on what happened in previous volumes, I’m still mistrusting of the dungeon itself and scared for how this is going to impact Laios, but I'm an optimistic reader and hope that everything will work out in the end for Laios and Falin.
