Jan 04, 2021I’m really liking the RPG elements as a storytelling device. Akira is forced to train and grind in order to achieve the skills he needs, and he has to go through some difficult fights in order to strengthen his physical abilities without his magic. I kept waiting for Amelia to betray Akira like everyone else has so far, but it didn’t happen in this book. Now we have seven more of Akira's classmates who are no longer under the spell of the princess, but who's to say she doesn't put them back under her influence? Hopefully, her spells have a distance limitation and she can't do anything to them once they leave the castle. It'll be interesting to see their adventure paralleled with Akira and Amelia's.
