A Comic Book Blog - Victor Kutsenok

Once again, if this was the opening story arc to this title instead of the first crappy arc, I would have really liked this series much more. It took them an extra month to put this book out, but it was definitely worth the wait. The writing got a lot better. The book became a lot more focused on the main character, Wolverine, and not a team of immortal enemies with Wolverine in a supporting role. Read Full Review

This is a strange series... When it all comes together it's really enjoyable(like the last two issues), but when it doesn't, it's as confusing as hell... This issue was more the latter. Sure, there were a few places where I laughed out loud while reading, but for the most part? Confusing as hell. Meh, maybe things will make more sense come the next issue. Read Full Review

Hoo boy, this dialogue with the X-Men at the start of the issue is a little rough. They sound like teenagers and talk so damn much this issue. I'm glad I enjoyed the first arc so much because it leaves me still hopeful this will turn out well, too. Art is wild and inconsistent but interesting. An over-reliance on dialogue distracts from that a bit, and it takes away from a neat premise of Wolverine being infected and transforming as a result of the last arc. Contagion also returns looking fabulous.
