The A strip is a beautiful introduction. The art looks great, Khonshu sounds terrific, and his words drop some tempting clues to upcoming developments.
But it's an introduction, not a story.
The same can be said for the B strip. It also features good art, but the words are…by Joe Kelly. Which means technically flawless grammar along with a dose of pretension (expressed here by giving Khonshu tremendously stuffy diction) that drives me up the wall. And again, it's not a story. It's barely even an introduction; really more of a tease.
