Jun 03, 2026I’ve had so much fun with this miniseries! I’m sad to see it’s over but I loved how it ended. The creative team outdid themselves on this! Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2026Cyclops #5 is a fantastic and emotional ending to this wonderful series. The action and fight scenes are tremendous and keep readers chomping at the bit. But the drama and emotional side of the story is the real MVP in this finale. Those emotions fill the reader with joy at the end of the issue and are truly fulfilling. The only downside of this issue is that the series and story are over. For those of us who have been reading this series as it played out, you will be very happy with this ending. For those who haven’t read this series, make sure when November rolls around you pick up the Trade at your Local Comic Shop. Read Full Review

Jun 04, 2026Alex Paknadel’s Cyclops limited series is about the true price of self-sacrifice and Cyclops’ role as the first to put himself on the line, even when dragged into a risky fight without fanfare. Beyond that analysis is a complex, focused storyline that respects the reader’s time, honors Cyclops, and has rich visuals. Read Full Review

Jun 04, 2026As a character study, this book is an excellent look at Scott and, as a lifelong megafan of this character, I was pleased with the story Alex Paknadel and Rogê Antônio ultimately told. Read Full Review

Jun 09, 2026Tearjerker as the next in line for a potential future villain was set up nicely and made his presence and all these issues matter. He has seen first-hand what Cyclops can do and could be a great foil to him in the future. This is another Marvel title that has been relegated to a mini series that deserves a full length run. The vibe from the end of this issue shows that there’s more left to be told. When this is collected in a trade paperback, it's a very easy book to recommend to someone. Especially someone that loves themselves some Cyclops. Read Full Review

Plot
Cyclops and Tearjerker arrive at the mine where Pierce, the other young mutants, and Mei are located.
Pierce obtains what he was looking for: a metal more versatile than adamantium, URU, the Asgardian metal from which Thor's hammer is made. Pierce learns a spell and enhances his armor, causing a mine collapse.
Cyclops opens an entrance, and Tearjerker is destroyed by Pearce, whose armor is immune to Cyclops's optic blasts. Mei and the other mutants distract Pearce, and Cyclops devises an attack plan using everyone's powers, defeating him. Everyone escapes the mine except Pearce.
The Marauder arrives to rescue all the young mutants and take them home. Cyclops says goodbye to Mei, telling her that he is an more+ Like • Comment -

As you can see by the number of reviews, no one's reading this book anymore and with good cause. It's just a nothing , out of continuity book. We have a by the numbers , boring comic. Pierce has obtained god metal and battles Cyclops. We get the most basic of storytelling with the slave mutant kids all teaming up to help Scott and defeat the bad guy. This is boring while at the same time does nothing offensive besides wasting our time on the series. thats really the story here, this book Offers no new take on Scott,No bold story. If you missed this series, congrats -nothing changed and you would have saved a few bucks. I know I wish I did.
