Summary: Chance kills an informant who is about to be transported to court by federal agents. The Life Foundation hires Chance to steal a foreign arms shipment. Spidey is at the pier, working on the story for Joy Mercado, when Chance arrives on the scene. As the weapons are being loaded on a submarine, Spidey briefly tangles with Chance, until Chance gets away by causing a crane arm with weapons to fall. Back at the Life Foundation, Chance is shocked unconscious by its head man, Drake. A shadowed figure views newspaper headlines about Spidey, vowing vengeance.
