    Overall, I find myself wanting to read more of Lonely Deaths Lie Thick as Snow after this first outing, but it’s not a series that is going to appeal to everyone, even if you’re traditionally into crime stories due to the overly graphic nature of the storytelling. There are too many unanswered questions, and I have some concerns about where the narrative will go longterm, too. But it’s clearly doing something right, as I’m intrigued enough to carry on.
