Jul 25, 2026After the first chapter sets up Dani in her novel isekai, the successive chapters have many time skips back and forth between middle school graduation and adventures during the past three years that sort of explain how the six characters have become friends. Following the narrative is a little complicated through this point. Also, Dani makes it her mission to not be Yeoryeong’s friend for the first half but it’s not entirely clear why. Overall, there’s not a lot of character development or plot in this first volume, just a lot of situations and character introductions. The story is very beautifully illustrated with lots of pastel colors, so at least it's visually appealing while we're trying to hash out everything. Read Full Review
