  Things continue to look more and more bleak for father. It's fascinating stuff. The fact of the matter is there aren't really very many victories here. Things just keep getting worse and worse. The fact that they continue at all suggests that there is some victory on the horizon for them at some point in this series. But we're not quite there yet. And it could take a while while given the nature of the conclusion of this issue. Read Full Review

  Corpse Knight #4 takes the reader on a kickass ride that appears to be ending with our “heroes” meeting their hero and all being well in the world. However, the rug is completely pulled from under us and the series takes a twist that will surely lead to some interesting events going forward. If the twist isn’t enough to hook you for next issue, nothing ever will. If you like adventure, violence, mythological, horror, fantasy, then this is the series for you. Make sure to buy a copy or two or three at the LCS this week and buckle yourself in for one hell of a surprise. Read Full Review

  This otherwise strong issue is marred by pacing issue so severe, it’s sure to convince readers that they’ve missed a page or two. The action move from one page to a completely different — and confusing — scene, leaving us baffled as to how the characters got there. Read Full Review

  Corpse Knight #4 delivers an unforgettable final page and another excellent showcase for Matthew Roberts' artwork, but uneven pacing holds it back from reaching its full potential. The emotional core between Foy and her father remains compelling, and Joan of Arc immediately commands the page whenever she appears. A few abrupt transitions and a siege sequence that skips over how a child and a zombie could win a fight against an army leave you wanting. The cliffhanger alone is enough to make the wait for the finale difficult, but this chapter isn't quite as satisfying as its ending suggests. Read Full Review
